The scoreline is no way reflective of the game. We were completely outplayed and if Gilks hadn't been on form they would have put another 5 past us.

Only in Warburtons world would he take anything from that on a 1 nil basis. Fucking deluded.

The problem here is Warburton doesn't change his system, so their manager now knows exactly how to nullify our midfield and stop our attacks before they begin all because MW refuses to change or adapt the system to counter what they do or think they are going to do

McKay was pushed and shoved off the ball easily, Windass was crowded and made about a dozen shit passes to no cunt

All in all it was a dreadful day and had the scum had an extra 2-3 top quality players it would have been easily 4 or 5, and that's the fucking drastic nature of it all, we are just lucky they are shite and couldn't take advantage of their dominance

If MW had opted for the midfield to play a couple long balls over the shoulder for Miller or the other 2 on the wings to run into it may have changed the scums defence into pushing so high but they know we were only going to play into feet so they stepped up with ease every time to clear their lines and go and attack again

Struggled to put 2/3 passes together all game, none of the midfielders bar Tav and Holt managed to find any space at all and when they did they had no option but Miler coz nobody else wanted the fucking ball

Gilks was outstanding but like any goal keeper you can only do what you can as top class finishers will always find the net and fortunately their strikers didn't have a great game, and we really shouldn't be expecting out GK to be man of the match 

Defence badly let down by the midfield, offered no protection, can't count on one hand how many times their players were able to drift 10 or 20 yards unchallenged towards the edge of our penalty box

No meaty challenges or desire from our players, no bravery and no fight, didn't want the ball and the only way we could have won that game was penalties

Its def no joke but there were no real highlights. The best player on our team was Gilks. I think that says it all. We played one up front with a spineless performance from the midfield .

We passed them off the park that game they came into it second half but we are playing nowhere near that level this year sadly.

 The worst game against the scum ever. The thing that sticks out was the number of times we got possesion then immediately gave it back. We also had a couple of freekicks in their half ,played the ball back to Gilks then lost possesion in the middle of our own half. We would have been as well just lobbing the ball up to Gordon. There was no fight whatsover and how the manager could use the word brave so many times in his post match interview really makes you wonder if he would be more suited to coaching the under 7s rather than the first team.
