Could play the role Rooney does imo

Fair enough if that is your opinion. He isn't a good enough footballer imo. He plays off the cuff as a striker. Quick. Instinct play. He isn't a proper footballer. Certainly nowhere near good enough to play with ballers in the midfield.

Can see Garner getting sent off today if he's in the squad, bit of a gamble IMO.

Why? Everyone says this about him because he's aggressive yet he's only had one red card in his entire career. ??

WARB'S GLAD ALL OVER

Joe Garner set for stunning Rangers return against Ross County TODAY

SunSport Online understands the £1.8 million striker has trained all week with no reaction following his recovery from a shoulder injury

JOE GARNER’S set for a stunning Rangers comeback today as boss Mark Warburton reacts to the midweek Tynecastle drubbing with changes.

SunSport Online understands the £1.8 million striker has trained all week with no reaction following his recovery from a shoulder injury suffered in the Hogmanay defeat to Celtic.

Joe Garner is set to return for Mark Warburton’s side against Ross County

Now Warburton’s pencilled him in for a start against Ross County at Ibrox – with massive pressure on the manager and his team to respond emphatically after the humiliation from a rampant Hearts side.

Fans favourite Garner – just three goals from 19 games since arriving from Preston North End last summer – knew he’d face a minimum four weeks rehab period but there were also initial fears of a three month absence if surgery had been required.

Joe Garner suffered shoulder injury against Celtic on Hogmanay

However, a specialist soon allayed those concerns – and now the aggressive frontman’s availability has boosted Warburton who has come under fire from angry supporters for the rout in Gorgie.

It’s believed the Gers boss – who came out fighting in his pre-match press conference on Thursday to defend his record this season – is also considering other shock selection moves in defence and midfield as he reacts to a performance on Wednesday night he regarded one of the worst of his 18-months in charge.

Aye but he's pure mental and all that lol.

I guess it wouldn't be a match thread if someone wasn't talking about how garner is a liability and will get sent off :headwall:

A few things are a dead cert on every thread mate. Personally I hope he plays as I think he adds a good bit of fight and passion to our side and would love to see him get a couple of goals today.

Im sorry but I HATE GARNER !!! dont feel like he really offers the team anything. yeah hes a handfull but so is a five year old child. 3 goals in 19 games is pathetic for a striker.

Francisco Sandaza 14 games and 2 goals ??

says everything to me !
