pcbear 10,932
Anyone go? I was at Crayford dogs tonight and they had the Shawfield races on the screens there, apart from losing all my money I had a good night.

MurrayWilson 3,696
Went a few weeks ago after the partick home game, took the family. It has without doubt seen better days but we had a good night out and the youngest boy whos 10 even picked a couple of winners. A change from the pictures anyway. I studied all the form, last races, what category, what trap, times to first bend etc etc betted accordingly and never won a coin, my wife picked the dogs she liked the names of and was quids in. MurrayWilson 3,696
You can study form all you want, the scientific method my 10 year old employed was to watch which dog had a crap just before the race and go for that one. It stands to reason its going to be lighter, his dogs won and mine never so who am I to argue?

Trap 2 and/or 4 single or each way , old system my grandad used, on the way to poverty.
BEE 4,880
Good night out and would suggest it for a cheap stag night. The betting is fucked up though, know a boy with a dog and he feeds it mars bars etc before a race a good few times until odds go up then lumps on. Gaz52 11,837
Enjoy a wee forecast bet on the dugs. Impossible to win anything massive though unless you go in heavy to start with

"That dug's had a shite!" someone shouts, and about 40 people descend on the Tote waving £20 notes about shouting Trap 4! Trap 4!. One thing that put me off it a wee bit is there's a very short turnaround time to get your bets in between races.
