Checked a couple of sites, both give att. as 45k  but having seen plenty of old pics stating official att. I think there must have been a few porkies told about crowd sizes

George Niven was carried off with a head knock & Big George Young went in goals for 18 mins

until Niven came back on wearing a leather skullcap. Rangers won the replay the following Wed. 1-0 Billy Simpson scoring the only goal.
