Our record at Ibrox is a direct indication of the problem. The team lacks courage and gets nervous in front of the big crowd of high expectation fans. Caixinha knew the lack of bottle but didn’t know enough about management to address it. Murty typified the loser mentality.

Gerrard needs to fix the courage and big match mentality. The no surrender attitude and the never say die spirit coupled with being able to play a bit

it can be done

It can be done with better players and ones that have the ability and a spine.

There is no fixing courage ffs!

Pep G himself couldn't fix that crew as collectively they are simply shite.

Get the bggage to fuck and no more bringing in spineless mediocrity and start bing wtf we should be.

We've only ourselves to blame, firstly for the weak challenge to win the league, then for losing so many points against 'lesser' teams this year. Once it came down to the sheep v cellic for a possibility of 2nd it was games a bogey. No way were either of them seeing us get 2nd.

You're right . We don't have the players with a strong enough mentality and previous managers have been unable to address that .  Souness did just that when he came - turned the existing players into winners and is something that SG and his team will have to emulate with the limited funding available .

Sort that out , and it's a big step forward .

Did he fuck. He shipped out fifteen plays in his first week, plus he did have much better quality to build upon. They were nothing like this useless bunch.

Currently we are over laden with spineless fucking dross. You don't build on cunts with no spine and very limited ability.

Absolute shambles of a game, which sums up the club from top to bottom.

Emphasises that, for all the good bits (we did score 5, after all!), there is nobody in our squad that can hold it together for 90 mins.

Oh I remember that period very well , I hardly missed a game home and away for that period of about 8 years where the league was effectively over by Christmas .

Back then you'll be lucky if we averaged 5 away wins a season and the year Souness came we ended 5th which , I think , was our worst league positioning ever . We were getting humped by the likes of Thistle , Morton even Clydebank , on an annual basis . With the emergence of aberdeen and dundee utd we weren't even main challengers , so I'm well aware of where we were back then .

At the time we thought wholesale changes were needed , and yet , when Souness came he used most of those same players along with Butcher , Woods and Nicholl . It was night and day the way the former players performed under Souness to the seasons previous . A big difference , and that was as important to the new signings .

I don't know if the present players will react similarly , we can only hope , but it can happen as Souness proved .
