The cowardly attempt to take on a defender at the last kick of the ball, clearly playing for a corner instead of having any real intent to score or set up a winner sums him up. Compare him to other youngsters the same age as him in the league like Porteous, Ferguson and even the likes of Hastie and he's nowhere near ready. He's yet to give any full back trouble. He needs to not kick another ball for the first team this season and go out on loan next season. ger4life_1872 and Cedrick

Yeah it's hard too argue with any of that , he was desperate for tav too just take charge at the end when he was in a great position , it was criminal not swinging that into the box straight away , the whole teams lack of effort or determination too try snatch the win the last few mins was disgusting right enough Laudrupsleftfoot

It looks like he's done. He will still pop up with a finish like at Aberdeen now and again because striking a ball well will never leave him, but he's struggling like fuck to find any space and that's not because of how we're playing. I also think he was promoted way too quickly without really showing any sort of consistency ger4life_1872 and Laudrupsleftfoot

Our midfield can't cut open defences that sit back. Sideways passing and no attempt to play that killer pass forward. Almost like they're scared to try it. Davis was signed with this in mind. But he looks done.

All the talk is about him not being given chances but you can't play a ball in behind a defence for him to run onto and you can't cross it for him to head it. So you're left with finding him in space in the box and teams aren't giving us any. Mesmer

That's been typical of him now for a while, wanting to keep it simple and other players to take responsibility. Decision making is terrible. Gives away frustrating free kicks with needless fouls when he's lost the ball. He has time to come good but needs a loan or two at clubs that play good football with less pressure so we can see if he can cut it in this league never mind with us. ger4life_1872

He’ll never be ready he’ll end up where o’halloran , Greig Wylde and every other player of this style has ended up , has nothing other than pace ,at Rangers you never get a 50 yard run in behind a defence coz they always sit to deep , everything to the wide players goes to feet , he has no trick no dip of the shoulder can’t come inside , runs head down with defender along side him then kicks it off hid legs for a shy or corner ,nothing else in his game we can improve on , he’ll be the same player at 28 he is the now at

But he can finish well and he can cross. If he can go up a level or two in terms of being able to burst past players then he has a chance of being a very good player. Massive development needed from him though.
