It's not the case - if it was any other manager in charge and we'd had such an impressive first half of the season, coupled with the European results then we'd be furious with how things had turned out but Gerrard isn't getting special treatment because of his name - it's because we've seen this side at its best and how it can perform. That's the most galling thing about this total capitulation in the last two months. We've gone from a side which barely looked like losing a game to a side which, Braga aside, barely looks like scoring more than a single goal in a game.
