OrangeRab 3,069 Posted December 12, 2022 Share Posted December 12, 2022 Great news. 18 is so young for a defender. I think he’s done pretty well. Does all the basics well. Few mistakes to be expected. Probably good to get him out on loan next year (with recall option) when everyone is back fit. Not sure he’ll ever go for mega money in the way that Patterson, Bassey and maybe Lowry will one day. 6 foot is pretty small for a CB these days. And he’s not overly blessed athletically like a Bassey or VD that a prem club would pay big money for him. He’s probably also need paired with someone great in the air in any future partnership for us. No secret teams lump up balls and target us at set piece.
