The Specky Forum Organiser 65,025
Surprised at that but very good news.
mitre_mouldmaster 21,509
Great news. Is just a kid and has been thrown into an incredibly demanding period. He will improve massively in the years to come. He has had some rough patches so far, but this is just to be expected. Has done well considering the amount of pressure he has been under, where in normal circumstances he would have been protected a bit more. stuart1994 4,303
Good news that, as others have said a few rough patches. Probably played what his planned game time was for the season in the last month before the world cup.
esquire8 42,904
Immense news. Keep developing at the same rate for another year or two then sell for record amount. Need to keep his path clear though.
superallysbears 7,635
Yes this last period of time will have been invaluable to his development, if he can get a good amount of games played now then we should see him kick on.
ElBufalo20 7,906
All about attitude for him now. He’s had a taste of first team football, done not bad considering circumstances. But if Goldson and Davies are fit he’s benched. So hopefully he knows that and he’s happy to learn and be a starting player soon. MrMckee 3,424
Not been convinced by him tbh and made some real school boy errors but hopefully that was down to the coaching and general vibe around the team with gio. Hopefully the new management team has seen enough in him to know they can take him to the next level and be a big talent.
SkylineBlue 23,485
Really good news. Maybe seen the likes of Danny Wilson going down south too early and thought better of it.

Popular Post graeme_4 34,615
Feel like I’m being a bit negative, but haven’t seen anything to justify the hype or talk of record sales from his first team action. Danny Wilson looked better when he first came in IMO. Appreciate he’s only young, but looks pretty average. May have been different had he had this recent run alongside the likes of Goldson. NitshillBear 1,459
His Facebook profile was suggested as a friend for me for some reason so I took a look. His timeline is private apart from his profile pic updates. They tell quite the story. Boy is living the dream.

ayro 3,015
Would be delighted with this news. He has had a real number of games recently without Goldson alongside him rather than 15 minutes here and there in games that are essentially done. He has made mistakes but he will be better for the experience, especially in the CL. Hopefully we continue to push him and he can live up to his potential. Big Al 55 9,275
Learned more in the last 3 months than in his entire career I’d suggest. Good news if we can get it over the line 👍
chris182 6,310
Very good news, the only silver lining from this shit show of a season so far fro CB injuries is that he's been convinced to sign on by the fact he's got plenty minutes. rangersross 6,530
Very positive news. Always think it's particularly hard on CBs who're forced into playing a little bit early, and he was chucked in at the deep end, but he seems to have come through it fairly well and the experience should push him on. GersInCanada 7,775
Made a few mistakes but that is outweighed by the good bits. Extension and a pay rise are fully deserved. Sends the right message to the rest of our academy players. Bluekev

Bluekev 44,111
Great news. The lad has been thrown in at the deep end and will only get better. There’s a few on here with negative comments but Bassey was a bigger clusterfuck at first and look how that turned out.
