Tbf on that one, he's from Middlesborough, who Bobby Murdoch played for. Assume he's a Middlesbrough fan.

Yeah, it makes alot of sense. That being said, fuck Bobby Murdoch and fuck Adrian Bevington. Hiring more sympathisers

Are you deliberately picking it up wrong?

They dropped 31 points against the rest. They won the league beating us 3/4 times and even then it might not have been enough if we'd took care of our business against the rest.

They dropped 19 points against the rest last season.

A squad and a complete change in attitude/mentality within it.

We are so mentally weak against them it's unreal. Seen it again in the last game as soon as they scored the heads dropped.

It’s complete role reversal and night and day from the mental toughness we showed particularly against celtic when Burns was manager. They used to really batter us start of some games but we were so resilient mentally we’d weather it and invariably hit them on the counter, then Goram would break them totally. At the same time we had people laying down a physical marker in midfield showing they wouldn’t win those battles. Now we just seem to wilt. You can actually see the body language of our players with the shoulders dropping and us sitting off. A strong spine and mentality is just critical.

Their points last season were enough to win 20 of the last 21 league titles.

In what world is that 'dropped a lot of points'?

Not sure where you were looking mate, but that's no remotely close to being true, the League winners won more points than the tims total last season in the previous three seasons, even the season the league got stopped for covid they had a higher points per game record than last season, in fact the league winners had a better record than them in 6 of the previous 10 seasons.

23-24: 93 +65GD
22-23: 99
21-22: 93 +70GD
20-21: 102
19-20: 80 (higher PPG than 23-24)
18-19: 87
17-18: 82
16-17: 106
15-16: 86
14-15: 92
13-14: 99

Back then we had strong characters within the squad. Players that not only had experience of winning trophies but knew how to dig in and win at all costs. We also had a manager in Walter Smith that would accept nothing less and who players would run through walls for.

Unfortunately this had been the 90s in reverse. They are sweeping up trophies and records and we're lucky if we land the odd piece of silverware.

I don't see that changing anytime soon. Clement I have my reservations about him. But I know for sure it won't change under this board. They've been in charge for years and it's one fuckup after another.

That their CEO a guy most didn't think was a good choice in the first place has knocked it back tells us everything we need to know.

He’s meaning it would beat 2nd places points tally and win the league.
