When and how do you think we will dominate Scottish football again

No worries mate

I think its criminal financial mismanagement to be honest. For example if you watched Dessers play for the first time and revealed the fee we paid for him you'd think it was a money laundering scheme he's that bad

:craphead:

He is a back up striker leading the line in multiple competitions.

Nightmare!

When and how as the title says we will get our rightfully place in Scotland back.

For me

When I can't see it for another 5-6 years if lucky

Solution. We need to hope the younger players bought like cortes and Barron etc keep fit and hope the board strike the iron when bids come on over 10m+ like that rhat mob.

And then reinvest in the squad with better quality. Sell for example Barron (not saying the now) for 15m reinvest in a better quality of player at 10m still in profit of 5m so on so on

As it is the now only diamonde and Barron is looking like 10m+ players

We will need a board that would be strong and astute and fighting for Rangers.

The board would have to ask uefa to look into the pro celtic bias and incompetent of refs in Scotland

We need to try and attract Saudi or qutari oil  investors to buy in.

The pain to say is sell the naming rights to ibrox to the likes of emrites etc and use sponsorship money to rebuild the stadium to 70k (while the rebuild is happening on the pitch the rebuild iff the stadium commences) there can be a way to do this with reduces capacity so we don't need to move out of ibrox like they are doing at the emirites

Set up a ppv channel for all our games with money going into the club.

Please give your thoughts

"The board would have to ask uefa to look into the pro celtic bias and incompetent of refs in Scotland " I believe is the key to it, not just the officials but the SFA/SPFL who are quite simply anti Rangers, pro Scum, and refuse to change the league and demonise our club at every chance they get. Maybe we should talk to the F.A. and find out what we need to do to play in England. Nothing will ever change in Scotland with a Scum run SFA/SPFL and friendly media to them.

We fucked it after 55, but the biggest fuck up was after the Europa League final.

We brought in a lot of money from that, our stock was as high as it's even been so should have allowed us to attract players we might have struggled to previously, we brought in £30m from Bassey and Aribo and we then qualified for the CL which brought in even more money.

We won the fucking lottery in that 6 month period and absolutely fucked it.

That's it in a nutshell .

Hard to believe that within a couple of seasons we're having to offload players for pennies just to enable us to sign someone .

The lack of foresight by the board have fucked it big time .

Only way it happens short term is if we get fresh investors willing to fund recruitment that can immediately close the gap.

Unfortunately more realistically it's a long term build. Adding to the squad each window and offloading more of the shite we've accumulated.

You're missing out the point where us finishing 2nd no longer guarantees us Europa League football and makes it significantly more difficult to get into the CL.

They're 1 round from the Champions League and are guaranteed Europa League. We're 3 rounds from the CL and guaranteed the Conference League.

It will impact us significantly too.

Right now Scotland’s UEFA club coefficient is 17th. If it doesn’t improve to at least 14th then the Scottish champion goes in at the second round of qualifying. You think those cunts are going to win three CL qualifiers? As for second place, unless it improves to 14 there’s no way into the CL. If it does we (let’s assume) would go into the second non-Champions round. So we’d both have three qualifying ties.

Malmo was the beginning of the end. Two games into the following season and we were on the slide to oblivion. Maybe if Goldson had not had a brain fart in Seville it would have been arrested.

Let's hope Malmo is not the beginning of another end this time.

Aye , that was just typical . Get a get out of jail card by pulling a goal back in the first game , go ahead in the return with them down to 10 men and then fuck it up . Just shows how a crazy 45 minutes can affect so much down the line .

Football success now is all about money and we are getting further and further behind every year. Failure to regularly qualify for Champions League, law suits, complete incompetence in transfers in and out along with a board who are successful businessmen seem to have no clue about  running a football club as a professional business.

Something has to change quickly because success is not just going to happen.

Realistically we'd be in the same position if we'd won in Seville. Either Gio would of got more time, and despite his brilliance in Europe something just wasn't working domestically. Or Beale would of had a few extra mil from prize money and the super cup to spunk on another Lammers we'd of been desperately trying to shift this window. Comedy act of King and Sands against Real Madrid to start the season off too.

As shite as things are now, we'd be in a much worse position had the europa run and cl not happened. Sobering thought that, fuck knows what are signings would look like. Martin Boyle on one wing, Wright on the other.

You are correct that we still got the CL money the following season. Perhaps being seeded in Pot 1 we would have avoided the Group of Death we got drawn into. 0 for 6 did nothing to lift attitudes.
