dazzareyes 220
From the Times WERDER BREMEN midfielder Daniel Jensen wants Uefa to bin the Nike ball that his team-mate Tim Wiese found too hot to handle against Rangers, writes Darrell King. The blunder keeper gifted Gers the opening goal after Daniel Cousin's raking 40-yard drive, but was not given any stick by his team-mates. And Jensen declared: "I think Uefa have to seriously look at this ball. It's not the same as any of the balls that any of the teams play with in Europe and it just flies around. There is no doubt that aspect caused Tim a problem. "It was a bad goal for us but these things can happen. The pitch was also not the best and was very heavy. It's going to be tough for us now, but we can still come back." Dont know what hes on but im pretty sure two of the biggest leagues in the world use that ball epl and la liga. Wonder if he criticised the ball for everyone of the 13 goals they shipped in, in the CL
FlippinEck 3,750
its not as bad as the world cup ball, the plated one. I didnt even know if it was made in a special way that made it act that way like the plated one does.
Del 667
*yawn* sound like sour grapes to me!! The pitch was heavy and the balls rubbish....what next....the wind in Scotland favoured us and helped the ball move in the air with a well timed gust! Get a grip! dazzareyes 220
Statements like that make you think he's getting ready to sign for celtic in the summer
ibroxwonder 0
Don't we use that Nike ball in all competitions? A ball is a damn ball, any good side can play well if the ball isn't that WC one... we've all played with a "floater" in our time, so they should concetrate on their problems! Eric_Caldow 60
Statements like that make you think he's getting ready to sign for celtic in the summer They surely wouldn't sign another arsehole as a keeper.

Muff 245
The Nike ball and the Adidas one(which Bremen use) are almost the same. Infact the Adidas one and the one which will be used at Euro 2008 has more bounce in it. The Nike and Adidas both meet these “FIFA Approved†standards, it exceeds practically all of them. So there you go Jensen, not our fault your keeper is a flapping b*stard. Away and play with the buses you bitter b*stard!

Muff 245
Have they not been playing with the Adidas ball in the Champions League and UEFA Cup? That ball is identical to the nike ball, infact it's made with a different texture which allows the players a greater feel in all conditions. It's supposed to move even more when struck!
