Eck and bf

Recommended Posts

Just on Santanta just now big Eck stated, "He did not thing BF was disruptive merely vocal and during his his time with the dons there were more players in dons dressing room even more vocal". So much for the allegation BF undermined Big Eck.

Nobody ever said he did undermine Eck....it must have been the unwashed on here stirring it up again, erseholes! :D

Yeah, Cause Alex McLeish is going to go on Setanta and slate Barry Ferguson. It just doesnt happen like that. When you leave football clubs, you sign confidentiality forms, which stops you from going to the press and telling all that happens behind the scenes.

If Alex came out and said, Dragon Mladenovic was a good player, would you believe him?

So why did PLG go running to the press like a big baby slating our Scottish players for drinking too much? A serious allegation.

Cause PLG didnt take a pay off..... Where as McLeish did.

In the terms on the pay off, you have to sign an agreement, that stops you from telling all.

Sacked Managers or Managers who resign dont have that commitment to the club.

Some people have difficulty in dealing with the truth even when it comes from the man himself, as it is easier to believe inuedos and lies from third parties. Eck has little to gain by telling untruths and could endanger his good name by telling lies.

So what happens when it comes to writing books and stuff like that?

Are there time limits on these agreements?

As far as I am aware you have to get permittion to include things in your book.

If you dont, Clubs, Players and everyone else can sue you for printing confidental materal or posting lies to tarnish someones career.

PLG raised concerns he had about the Scottish game and to be honest, it should be taken as a wake up call.

The standard of football in this country at all levels is piss poor to say the least and that was something he could not come to terms with as he was from a culture where professionalism is much higher in football. That has paid dividends for the French, who have enjoyed massive success at all levels in football over the past decade while we spiralled downwards on both the domestic and international front.

<rattat>  Take that Bazza haters

I do not hate Ferguson, never have, and never will do. I have never advocated any witch-hunts aimed at him or any other player. Frankly, the entire debate has been reduced to a ridiclous anti v pro squabble, of which it is nothing of the sort.

I just have serious questions about his ability to captain the side properly and fairly. I also dispute the version that sees Barry, Kris and Allan delivering the whole truth and everyone else is a liar. Hemandi hit the nail right on the head when he asked for objectivity because it has been sorely lacking.

I enjoyed the 5-0 thrashing of Dundee Utd, and wiping the smirk off Levein's face <_< , the banners were touching too, but one swallow does not a summer make. If Walter's prepared to let bygones be bygones for the good Rangers then fine by me but long term issues have been raised that go to the very heart of RFC and these are far bigger than the Ferguson debate.

BTW, I'm not surprised that McLeish had no problems with BF since he spent 18 months of the McLeish era at Ewood Park. Did he moan and greet down I wonder?

Their International team have been successful however Marseille are the only team to have won the Champions league and you could hardly call them professional:

"Marseille, it emerged, had fixed their title-clinching Division 1 game against ASOA Valence-Clime so they could concentrate on the Milan tie. Soon the ripples of corruption were a tsunami of shame, with Marseille stripped of Le Championnat, relegated, and barred from defending the cup." quoted from the UEFA site

PSG won the Cup Winners Cup in 1996. So where is the great French massive success at all levels in football over the past decade? If you're going by European trophies throughout history then the Scots have won more than the French.
