Aye, folk don't like us M. Its jealousy. I don't get too cut up about it, went out with my Partick Thistle pal the night before our replay and he kept on telling me they were gonnae hump us. Got annoying as we were on a night-out ffs! But, we won and he text later saying he was dissapointed as they created chances after I asked him about the game and then I replied 'Don't get upset, you were playing the Uefa Cup Quarter Finalists and weren't gonnae win anyway'. Spoiled a little by some buckfast neds supporting Motherwell who sang about how much they hated "the h***" all night long. They didnt like the scum either and therefore turned their backs on the OF game only for one of them to be scudded by the ball when a shot went over the bar. There was a wee corner of the arena full of bears and we probably had the largest support of all judging by the cheers when each team scored. Us, scum and Killie just sat anywhere and got on fine (mostly families) but they wee teenage 'Well fans were a disgrace. Funny thing was the arena announcer had declared before our final group match v Well that if Well won by 2 goals it was a Rangers Well final. We of course let them win by 2 goals only for same tosser to say they had got it wrong and it was an OF final. Cue the Well fans, who had just that second finished singing that they were going to win the final, booing and then getting up and leaving. Noticed this during the final TB: Mr Durie seems a good bit annoyed at Coisty for some reason. In the interview with the Captain of Rangers and Killie, before any game had started, he said 'Shame Coisty is not here but we have a few faces' And then a few minutes ago he said, while commentating on the 1st match, he said 'Aye, a shame Coisty has let us down tonight and rest assured he won't be getting a call if we go through tonight' Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
