Personally I would agree that the back 4 picks itself with injuries and cup-tied players ruled out. He could play Dailly at CH instead of Broadfoot, but I think Walter knows that would be far too slow a partnership. Up front, I would prefer to see a twin strike force of Boyd plus one other. Try them all until you find the one that suits him best. It may even be Miller that works best with him, but I would like to see Novo, Lafferty Cousin and JCD all given a chance to see who can get the most goals out of Boyd in the coming weeks. For tomorrow, I would go with JCD's pace and direct running beside Boyd, but only because I need to play Novo on the right for balance. In midfield Thomson is the only solid midfielder we have at the moment, so it is a case of picking the 3 to go with him. It becomes difficult after that due to our lack of action in the transfer market and the poor form of those currently vying for a place. I would go for Adam left side as he is still the best dead ball guy in the squad, Hemdani in the centre beside Thomson for a bit of composure and security for the back and Novo on the right, even though I think we only get the best out of him as a sub, and he is best suited to playing through the middle. So my team would be McGregor Whittaker Weir Broadfoot Papac Novo Hemdani Thomson Adam Boyd JCD And if that team starts I will buy everyone a pint with my leftover Lithuanian Litas :beer2: Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
