I Know the Blues Brothers are u the great Gers, Linfield and Chelsea. We talked about that we(Hamburg), are the 4th inofficial members of the Blues Brothers. Because of our great Relationship by our Supporters? I said that is not possible, cause only british teams could get that honour. Cannot tell u that for sure, the relationship is there since i can think about my HSV. But we have similar points of view i think. We both dont like Celtic and our Hamburg opponent is St.Pauli. They are similar to Celtic and in friendship with them, maybe that was bringing us together, dont know for sure.... And of course the colour... U know what i mean? Fucking hate being linked with Chelsea even if it's only in the minds of a few. Crap in the head...we have an official link with Arsenal (of a type) so Chelsea can GTF. Der Beginn einer langen Freundschaft Der Hamburg Loyal Rangers Supporters Club wurde 1977 von Kay Giese und Michael Burzlaff gegründet – selbstverständlich im Anschluss an einen Besuch im Ibrox Stadium im Süden Glasgows. Ein 5:1-Heimerfolg der Rangers über den FC Clydebank war damals das Schlüsselerlebnis und der Beginn einer langen Freundschaft. „Die fantastische Unterstützung der Zuschauer und die einzigartige Atmosphäre im Ibrox Stadium machen die Rangers zu etwas ganz Besonderem“, erklärt Kay Giese, der mit den „Gers“ in ganz Europa unterwegs war, die Faszination rund um den schottischen Rekordmeister (51 Titel). „In mehr als 30 Jahren hatte ich das Glück, viele denkwürdige Spiele mit den Rangers zu erleben“, erzählt Giese. „Aber über allem steht für mich das 2:0 über Juventus Turin.“ Im Europapokal der Meister eliminierten die Rangers im Jahr 1978 in der ersten Runde den italienischen Renommierklub. Zum 30. Jubiläum des Hamburg Loyal RSC gab es im Oktober 2007 vor dem Spiel gegen Hibernian Edinburgh (0:1) auf den Rängen des Ibrox Stadium ein großes Gratulationstransparent. Vor der „Glaswegian Bar“, dem Treffpunkt der norddeutschen Rangers-Anhänger in der Bridge Street, wehten das HSV-Banner und die Hamburger Stadtflagge. „Es war eine sehr spezielle, tief gehende Feier mit Anhängern zweier fantastischer Klubs“, erinnert sich Rangers-Fan Greg Jamieson aus dem schottischen Cumbernauld an diesen denkwürdigen Sonnabend. Der Fan-Alltag birgt für die 15 Mitglieder der Loyals aber auch Tücken. Denn die Fußball-Fernfahrer aus Hamburg und Umgebung halten es auch mit dem HSV, sodass Interessenskonflikte kaum vermeidbar sind. „Man muss bei Spielbesuchen immer abwägen, ob man sich für den HSV oder für die Rangers entscheidet“, sagt Kay Giese. „Und es ist ja immer auch eine Geldfrage. Exactly I don't get all this shit about "blues brothers" I understand the link with Linfield and I can just about see a link to HSV but the Chelsea one all I can see is they play in Blue. Rangers have a far more long standing "relationship" of sorts with Arsenal, right back to the beginnings of both clubs, although nothing is really made of the link nowadays.
