But the midfield was much more pleasing on the eye and Mendes worked well with Bougherra I thought and Lafferty showed some nice touches too. Even Kirk nutmugged somebody too! But with the way you always talk about trying to play football on the deck aswell as the various times you have talked about system and tactics thats the impression I get. All of us in our section of the Main Stand were completely bemused when he wasn't hooked. Happier Bear today after that performance, by no means perfect but its an improvement. The Midfield may be looking very solid in the next week or so! If anything we may only be one CB away from a very complete squad though we have to offload some of the deadwood.
