jbm26896 995
it would not surprise me if we went 4-5-1 we show too much respect to teams in the SPL result is more important than the team selection
ibroxwonder 0
WALTER SMITH has made two changes to his starting eleven for today's SPL clash at Easter Road with Kenny Miller and Charlie Adam replacing Kris Boyd and Nacho Novo respectively. The Gers' gaffer has opted for pace in abundance in attack with Miller joining Jean-Claude Darcheville as part of a two-pronged strike force. As expected Neil Alexander has retained his place in the team and there are no changes to the back four of Broadfoot, Weir, Bougherra and Papac. Novo struggled to hit top form against Partick Thistle on Wednesday night and this has given Adam the chance to impress at one of his favourite grounds. The midfielder bagged two goals on two separate occasions in Leith during the 2006/07 season and would no doubt love to recapture this goalscoring form this afternoon. Smith has plenty of firepower on the bench if required with Boyd, Novo, Kyle Lafferty and Spanish winger Aaron ready for action. RANGERS: Alexander; Broadfoot, Weir, Bougherra, Papac; Davis, Mendes, Thomson, Adam; Darcheville, Miller Subs: McGregor, Boyd, Dailly, Novo, Lafferty, Aaron, McMillan http://www.rangers.premiumtv.co.uk/page/Ne...1406445,00.html
