In saying that, it does seem like a kangaroo court and could be dealt with tommorow and the same people will no doubt let the decision stick. It just all depends on how long they will take in getting round to dealing with his appeal, I suppose. this isnt like an appeal over a red card though,this is player vs manager,he might fight the suspension and fine but its still upto strapon who plays and hes not likely to coz strapon is a stubborn we bastard. I know that, but it depends on what way they want to work it. Hopefully Strachan finds it frivilous and doesn't play him during his appeal to teach him a double lesson, then it could be 4 games he misses. Strachan has stepped too far this time. We all need to remember just how great a talent Aiden McGeady is. Furthermore the fact that he has spoken out shows that he isn't the typical modern footballing mercenary who doesnt give a toss as long as he is paid. Where is Strachan singling out McDonald for a pathetic season so far? This is a personal vendetta against one of the greatest celts in a long time, a bhoy who cost us nothing and loves the club. Unfortunately I only see one outcome...McGeady joining the list of players ejected from Paradise by Strachan...the lsit is getting longer with messrs Riordan on it...also the appaling way he got rid of Thompson and Hartson...regardless of their service to the club thrown in to train with the reserves. Apologies for the rant but I aint happy about paying to watch my team being demolished from the inside Strachan has to realsie that criticism is healthy and if he wants to stop the critics then its easy...take more than one point out of six in the SPL. He called him an arsehole, not once but six times. Unless turncoat makes a very public apology to Strachan, this debacle has finished both their careers at Celtic. Apparently he's going to appeal the suspension so that should tell you no apology will be forthcoming. Strachan can't be seen to allow a player back into the dressing room who shows no respect to him, it shows weakness to the other members of the squad. The Celtic supporters will then never forgive him for forcing their poor wee oppressed Aiden out the door. They already dislike him even though he's won 3 in a row, they now have something concrete to justify hating him. Time for us to turn the screw and take 6pts in the next two games.
