They ran themselves stupid, especially Anichebe, you wouldn't see Yakubu doing that anyway. Plus Benitez leaving on Riera for pretty much the full game, when he was pretty anonymous all night, was a mistake. Trying to see out 1-0 wins in the fashion that Chelsea did under Mourinho was the objective there, and Liverpool just could not do it.
