DinViesel 399
http://www.unionbears.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?tid=2972 union bears werent happy with this and are complaining to someone at ibrox Union Bears acting like fecking MOPES!! In case you hadnt noticed it was specifically about a specific battle hundreds of fucking years ago. The line "Those days are gone now" migt, just might give you a clue about that. Who the fuck are "UnionBears" anyway and who do they represent exactly? They obviously dont represent the majority of bears on this thread for a start. This is scotland if they dont like it, why dont they go home??? Cant you see the irony? If they complain we will be a laughing stock, right up there with the tarriers!!! Aye right ne bother union bears are a group at Ibrox and if you dont know or have never heard of them u mus not go to ibrox very much there a group like The Blue order, Clubdeckloyal, East Enclosure etc, why dont you go on there website and tell them to go home. Where they will then proceed to complain to the appropriate body. You Scottish prick.

Maybye I will go on thier website and tell them to go home. I was using a paraody to represent the irony you might not have picked up on that. That is exactly the slagging we will be getting if they do complain. Union Bears can do all they want but to complain about the unofficial scottish national anthem on Scotland Day makes us a laughing stock.
royalbluebell 38
the sash should be played before every rangers game. Agree Minstral....but as Kingkai says Rangers fans used to support Scotland big style. Remember when the Union Jack was flown along with the Saltire and the Lion Rampant at Hampden? OzGers 425
i cant believe that someone is potentially complaining about the flower of scotland? does this not make us as bad as them? The song is the unoffical national anthem for the country of the clubs birth and particulary on a day called "scotland day" it seems apt that it should be played...it is a rousing song that gets the crowd going and like the MAJORITY commented regarding TFS, we all need to remember it is just a song and not to get so easily offended by some age old lyrics! Papac 0
It did seem like a lot of effort to put "THESE VIEWS DO NOT NECESSARILY REPRESENT THE VIEWS OF THE UNION BEARS AS A GROUP" under every post on the website.
Thermopylae 15,287
why shudnt it get played lol, were they not having a scotland day? Surely a pro-Scotland day doesn't have to be an anti-English

nemisis 358
I made the post on the Union Bears forum. It has nothing to do with the Union Bears, I am not a member of the Union Bears it is a public forum just like this one, if you beleive that everything posted there is the Union Bears viewpoint then you beleive everything posted here is the view of Rangersmedia and if you read the post half of the rubbish posted on this thread would already have been answered

GOAT 30,449
I thought THEY were the easily offended, our own national anthem for fuck sake. Unofficial or not. It's not my fucking national anthem! I didn't even know this was played. Absolutely shocking. A nationalist dirge played at the home of a unionist club. An anti-English, jacobite dirge being played at Ibrox, is an absolute disgrace. I wonder what the reaction would be if we asked Rangers to play OUR real national anthem at Ibrox? Where did you get that from? This isn't a debate about English football, or English fans. It's a debate about that nationalist, racist, piece of shite being played at Ibrox.
