Looking at the league table I can see why some posters are anxious, we are only 8 points ahead of them with a better goal difference, a better defensive record and an unbeaten run of 11 games. Knee trembling stuff.

Law was injured in the livid all in wrestling. Zelalem is young and still trying to find his consistency, Miller has no excuse...

Fuck right off with that attitude. We're Glasgow Rangers, the world's most fucking successful football club.
Win this game, and then fucking gub the hibs.

I think the opposite might be true. LBH, this league is not tough in a pure footballing sense, as we are coasting a bit. The difference in class is obvious. Our possession and shots on goal are more than impressive, so we are making plenty enough clear chances. Any problem we might have are down to the assassins we face and we end up with players out due to bad injuries and maybe a wee bit of complacency creeping in, but MW will have any of that sorted. We are well equipped to win this league and more and we will.

We are not scoring because teams are sitting 10 men behind the ball and defending for their lives. The tactics are working because we're still winning these games, so why do we need to change them?

That formation leaves me with two questions, is Oduwa injured and do you think we should be starting Miller.

During the early play it looked as if we were going to totally destroy them but after the disallowed second goal which looked onside from where I was sitting, Queens Park seemed to take heart from this and consequently their new found enthusiasm resulted in them starting to win more of the fifty/fifty balls as the game became a more scrappy affair. However, having won the ball, their forward play lacked the guile to cause us any real damage defensively other than their goal which came from a soft free kick that Simonson came out for and totally missed as the ball seemed to bounce of the head of one of their players and into the net
    .
Although we were still the better team the determination of the Queens Park players in closing us down when we were in possession meant that we were resorting more to the long punt up the park which was being adequately defended by their well marshaled defense.
Although we never looked in any real danger of loosing the match, the Queens Park players deserve applause for their determined attitude which at times we struggled to master until the appearance of Ian Black who introduced a snappy short passing assurance to our midfield play that was lacking in Nicky Law's meandering attempts at maintaining possession.
On the plus side Chris Boyd is up to his old tricks again of scoring goals whilst young Nicky Clark is looking sharp and taking up good positions off the ball alongside him
    .
Although putting in the occasional good cross ball, Peralta was caught in possession far too often which may be down to a lack of match practice and Jig just seemed to be there without contributing anything great creatively.
Defensively we were solid enough with Zaliukas winning nearly all the high balls punted to their stocky wee target man.
Although the game was a wee bit tense at times the reaction from some of the fans around me was disappointing to say the least as they directed abuse towards the manager and some of our players so much so that I thought some of them might have been candidates to use the phone number displayed on the big advertising board located in the left hand corner of the stadium offering advice for anybody feeling suicidal.
    FFS we won 2-1.

Quite often in Boardroom issues people adopt the line of 'it's the rhebel, just ignore that' or some other line re wild paper speculation or intent to disrupt us, 'lets wait and see what actually happens'. When it comes to McCoist people are more than willing to latch on to a newspaper story and have a pre-emptive moan about him, using the 'if this is true then McCoist is..... ', a sort of weasel like, newspaper 'we can say whatever we like if we say "if this is true" ' get out. Then, of course, the paper often gets it wrong, as in this instance. But hey, we've got our McCoist moan in, so who cares?
Ultimately, it doesn't matter if the story ends up true or not, by having an 'if this is true' rant it adds to the tone of discontent without any genuine reason, other than the acceptance of paper talk.
There's plenty of genuine stuff to argue about re McCoist, but it just sounds like a witch hunt when you club him over the head with speculative paper talk.

You've posted this from an already established negative opinion rather than trying to be neutral. There are so many holes in it that it would be pointless debating as it is clear you would never move your position.

Goals, goals, goals. I just don't see the point. We score far too many goals as it is.
I'd rather stick a young boy in who may or may not fulfill their potential.

I cannot help thinking Ally McCoist is in a no win situation on this one. He's dammed if he does attempt to bring Boyd back as another ex/ older player and equally criticised for not doing so.
