So scoring in a pre-season game merits a place does it?

As for Maurice Edu - going by his twitter thing, he is back tomorrow and will be ready for Hearts. McCulloch out, Edu in (tu)

He played better than Healy by all accounts.

Again, what has Healy done to merit a start ahead of Hemmings?

I will let the manager be the judge of that.

Kane Hemmings has never played a competative game for The Rangers, David Healy has. It's the first game of the season, one which will be a tough one. I'd imagine Ally McCoist will opt for experience over a rookie!

The line up will hopefully will be totally unrecognisable to that of the OP. Ally is hoping for 3 or 4 signings in time for Saturdays match!

You are kidding yourself on. Even if we do make signings during the week it will be after the Blackpool game and why would these new faces walk straight into the team ahead of players that are already a team, if you follow me.

I would put money on Muff's team being bang on, apart from Whittaker and Broadfoot swapping.

McGregor

Broadfoot Whittaker Bougherra Papac

Ortiz Davis McCulloch Naismith

Jelavic Hemmings

This team for me if we don't add anymore signings(hopefull though) Hemmings definitely deserves a place before Healy if pre season's anything to go by.

Hopefully Bougherra is fit to play on Saturday and we get no injuries against Blackpool.

Think Ally might pick this team on Saturday going by our current squad.

McGregor

Whittaker Bougherra McCulloch Papac

Ortiz Davis Edu Wylde

Jelavic Naismith

*Broadfoot could play with Edu missing out.

Stick on IMO.

Would you all take the piss if I said I was concerned about this match?

I'm the same , if no one is in by the end of the week to strengthen this team against a Hearts side who has brought in good players. It will be a tough match anyway.

McGregor

Juanma Whittaker Bougy Papac

Naismith Davis Jig Wylde

Jelavic Healy/Hemmings

Weir or Broadfoot cannnot play they were the downfall of pre season.

1-0 Jelavic.

I'd start hemmings against Blackpool in midweek and see how he gets on. If he has another promising performance, I'd start him against Hearts

If Bartley signs during the week which I think he will then start him over Broadfoot and move Whittaker to RB.
