Joke CELTIC have been handed a €19,000 fine by UEFA for setting off fireworks during December's Champions League group stage match against Manchester City. The Control, Ethics and Disciplinary Body of European football's governing body confirmed the punishment on Friday. The Hoops were charged a fine worth around £16,000 after fans set off fireworks during the 1-1 draw at the Etihad Stadium on December 6. A UEFA statement read: "The UEFA Control, Ethics and Disciplinary Body (CEDB) has announced the following decision: Match: UEFA Champions League group stage match between Manchester City FC and Celtic FC (1-1), played on 6 December in Manchester, England. "Decision: The CEDB has decided to fine Celtic FC €19,000. "The charges against Celtic FC were related to setting off of fireworks – Art. 16 (2) of the UEFA Disciplinary Regulations (DR) and crowd disturbances – Art. 16 (2) DR." The governing body charged Celtic over trouble during the 1-1 draw at the Etihad Stadium last December. It is the 10th time in the past five years the club have been charged by European football's governing body regarding their fans' behaviour. Un fucking believable that their fines went down for years but now they seem almost levelled out . But nothing else seems to be getting done . Remember Inter got a punishment of playing behind closed doors .Think we even were close to having similar punishment according to the beggar loving media in this Country .
