Not really how it works.

If you have an option to buy as long as you meet the fee then it’s out of our hands.

McCrorie could always turn it down but as a club we can’t reject it if they match the agreed amount.

Chris jack in evening times saying that’s what’s been agreed.

take it or leave it as you will

Far from how it always works. Clubs sometimes get first refusal as seems to be the case here.

Well according to 4 lads blog who are usually very good with info that the option to buy is if we want to sell and pompy get first option.

they also said that no price has been set before loan and we can set price at end of season.

Just seen that this morning it would have been better put as first refusal.

9/10 option to buy a fee set from the start.

Tbh, it's just two different ways of saying more or less the same thing, the only difference is that there isn't a set fee. A surprisingly high number of times with options there isn't a set fee but a date by which the 'buyer' has an exclusive window to negotiate with the player/club over a move. (particularly outside the UK).

Feel for the kid but we need to be ruthless if we want to win the title. Needs to improve on the ball and if he can he’ll be a huge success down there then with us.

He needs to do the same if not better than Docherty has so far imo. Excel, smash it, then return and take his chance in pre season.
