Years and years we have taken it on the chin from 5-0 maulings to 1-0 defeats via controversial goals. Yet we carried ourselves with total class throughout knowing fine well that the worm would eventually turn and we would have our day. Compare that to these mutants after the 2-1 masterclass on sunday and it's night and day. So much so that some fans of the dark side have even gone as far to say if a Rangers player passes them on the street they might well end up slashed. Night and fucking day our support to that lot.....not that it was ever in question anyway👍 Things are about to get very messy in the next 6 months for that lot. We have had so many lows, and false dawns over the last decade that we as a group can handle things going slightly wrong at times, yet keep perspective. Them on the other hand just refuse to acknowledged that we are a good outfit. They genuinely believe that they just need to turn up and they will win 4-0. When things start to go wrong for them, they start lashing out at everyone. The manager, the board, the players. They will implode. As OP said they are completely in denial, denial about us being a good team, in denial that their 9iar is in danger, denial that they're manager is average at best and has a bigger reputation for his terrible personality than he does for anything football related, him being in charge as we take back what's ours makes it so much sweeter. Wondering whether there would even be a team to follow, trips to the far flung backwaters of Scottish football, humiliations at their hands, dealing with the corruption and anti Rangers sentiment that permeates the SFA and all levels of officialdom. But they took their foot of the gas, it was all too easy, so much so that they brought back lennon. Meanwhile we starved on lower league rations but learnt how to survive. We ended up leaner, fitter, more determined than ever. 50000 signed up to the cause week in week out. We hired a proven passionate fighter to be our manager, a man who knows what it is like to win when the chips are down. Slowly but surely he built a team around him. If Morelos isn’t charged they’ll be greeting.
