  1. True character and resilience and even when down to 9, still thought we'd win as St Mirren were very tired and also became overawed by the situation. Thought we could have got a second on the break, if it had lasted longer! Champions and should set us up nicely for the remainder of the season, moreso, if the refs are going to gang up on us but they won't be able to do that all the time. They had their chance today and they blew it! Let's move on and destroy everyone else.
  2. Culture and tradition are the bedrock of who we are as a people and relevant to our football club and its base; this should be cherished and never forgotten. However, the world and football is global and with an audience who are ripe for marketing and thus the product has to be appealing. Our heritage as a quintessential Scottish/British football club makes us an appealing brand, irrespective of our critics and others who may have a bigoted agenda. Being an international person and having worked in many different countries and cultures throughout the world, the allure of football, especially from Great Britain is all to evident. Particularly, working in the Middle East and its adoration for football presents an excellent opportunity for Rangers as a brand. People like 'Scotland/Great Britain' we and our football are still appealing despite the misgivings of our politics and wars in Iraq etc;. I, myself at a local level have indeed generated amongst my Saudi Arab colleagues an interest in Rangers and at the last Old Firm game of Season 2008/2009 invited colleagues' to my home only for them at half-time to rightly undertake their daily prayers! We have culture and tradition - that is important and we have a global fan base which has also moved us on and extends our marketing reach. Very few have culture, heritage and tradition which indeed is a 'Unique Selling Proposition'...we do; this should be cherished but, we should still embrace diversity. The two are compatible and does not preclude us from being a 'broad church'! Let's not forget whilst some of our adversaries may have their own unique facets cannot be so broad and this provides us with a further competitive advantage and clear distinction.
  3. You must realise that the BBC is a leftist ane elitist organization. The apparatchiks in Scotland tend to have an insular and anti Protestant (indigenous) agenda in favour of the Irish Catholic immigrants. This is what happens when you have those in charge who demean the majority's culture and the fickle stand for it! Wake up! It has now become institutional and discriminatory.
  4. Where was Mehmet Ali Agca when we needed him! Better luck next time!
  5. Ramadan starts on Saturday, August 22. Boogy will be fine, like every other Muslim, he'll just adjust his eating and sleeping habits and fasting makes you stronger and healthier in any case. He perhaps has already started to fast (in advance of Ramadan) as many do. Sport does not excuse someone from fasting - read the Qu'ran! Still, sure Boogy will enjoy his Iftar breakfast after dusk on Saturday evening.
  6. It means: DISCRIMINATING against persons who are not Catholics and ensuring that those persons who are not of the same faith as you are denied the opportunity open to persons of the Catholic faith. It is bigoted and ultimately an offence against the Law and Equal Opportunities legislation!
  7. Great video - an internet hit here in Saudi with my Arabian colleagues. They like the Billy Boys!
  8. Jambo Fans should be applauded when we play them next! Always a soft spot for them! They certainly don't like the scum.
  9. You forgot to mention the Catholic - Celtic supporting MPs in the Labour Party who have now been caught for fiddling their expenses. Good does triumph over evil and at least we don't have a Chairperson who is an evi fascist war criminal ! We have dignity - never forget that!
  10. He adds value and is more than worthy of the jersey. I said this after he signed and implored those to give him a chance...he delivered and all credit to him. The title means so much to him - a very good pro.
  11. Good post Danny, however, I think we should not rest on our laurels. The real work for the next epoch starts now and there will have to be some major changes to move to the next level and have some - clear blue water between us and the scum and also to add value in Europe!
  12. ...also, it is our country! They may live here but one day they will not be (dirty scum)!
  13. Great day and well deserved. My Saudi colleagues in the office we all rooting for Rangers and said a special prayer to allah - it worked!

  17. Oleg and I have many disagreements in the debating chamber but we have respect for each other (left v right) He deserves credit for his endeavours and travails in this respect and has my support - even though we will continue to disagree. He is a true socialist, so, if he has any morals he would reject the title anyway and remain with the proletarian masses - but underneath he may just be a champagne one...I think not.
