I know, yes, we've come from being beaten by celtic regularly to being beaten by celtic. I get what you're saying but I just want to kick the cat I don't have.

Still utterly scunnered but always felt this was going to be a very tough game. That game midweek and the trip back is no excuse for the way we set up but it has to be considered in part. At least we all stayed on the park. celtic performed and we didn't. On another day we might see it different.

Even with 10 men i'd feel confident. If we all stay on the park I feel we can take them.

Lets not kid ourselves that this won't be a very tough game. Would be delighted to see a performance with heads held high and everything left on the park. Too many false dawns for me to get carried away. Our manager is a winner, no doubt about it. Lets go!

After all that we've gone through many could be forgiven for not getting too carried away. After Sunday I think we can stand back and weigh up where we are. But I'll allow myself a wee fist pump and a smile.

Hearts will get the hammering they deserve soon enough. celtic barely managed to squeeze out their win v Hamilton. It's early start to a long campaign and players will dip. However, how many have said Rangers will not concede many goals this season with Katic, McGregor, and Goldson? Perhaps that's the exception today. Still raging tho.

We have seen improvements in all our players: why not expect to see a better Lee Wallace under Gerrards management.

I think Borasic was spotted and targeted after he played us, maybe they had him in their sights but I doubt it. And yes, I think SG is very much aware of the players out there. I'm not going to gloss over last season though, MA didn't identify the Mexicans I'm sure, and neither did his scouting network, but the difference between last season and the players who have only just come in is like night and day.

I wouldn't take any shine away from Allen but I have a firm belief that Gerrard is the main driving force behind our best signings. I'm certain in my gut that they communicate well but I can see SG saying I want Goldson, I want Borasic, I want Coulibaly, I want a big hard solid guy like Katic. Full credit for getting these deals done but I'm looking at one man for turning us around and thats our manager. Allan most likely moved on McGregor and Arfield but we were told that JJ was the one who sourced Morelos.

Maybe I'll get a kicking but I'm so happy with our progress that I'd be happier to perform well against celtic than keep going in europe, to explain further, I have this feeling that we can give celtic a real challenge that might even see us end their wee day in the sun at the top of the league. I don't want us to fail in europe, nothing like that, its just that europe is a bonus and a good experience for the players but not the main target. We are looking good, really good, but a few injuries, a few yellow and red cards, then we are going to struggle without more strength in depth.

A lad who will come in to cover when needed and try his best. Give him some support and encouragement. Even scored a goal tonight....

Much as we are all getting excited and impressed with Gerrard I'll hold fire with the King appreciation. He was the man in charge when we had to suffer the Pedro experiment and various other embarrassments. Looking good so far but any run of bad injuries and we are in trouble and need an experienced lethal striker.

When he went down I think a few of us were thinking, that's another one out for a few games: delighted to see the hunger and dig in the guy to pick himself up and then push for the other goal. No way was he coming off. Big difference between this team and before.

I'll be honest I wasn't looking for the result but you have to admit it just jumps out at you, and I laughed. I don't mind if they come back but it'll take them longer than it took Rangers to climb back and we had to do it against every other team in Scotland.

I will never forget the horrible way my team, this club, was treated (they tried to destroy us) and I will delight in seeing clubs like this and their supporters humiliated in any and every way possible.
