Like others I'd like to keep both sadly I don't think either one will be playing at Ibrox next season. That said I would choose Boyd. He's led the league in scoring for some time. Besides, we've managed to beat Celtic without Bougherra. How many Old Firm matches did Bougherra play in last season? It seemed to me he missed at least two of them, yet Gers still won the league.

I haven't been impressed with our midfield this season but I haven't watched the 7-1 thrashing of Dundee United yet. I agree with JimBeam that Walter shouldn't be playing two defensive holding midfielders in the same starting 11. Haven't seen all the matches but have yet to be impressed by Mendes, Edu or Thomson this season. Davis works hard but still doesn't seem to know what to do in the 18. Glad they won today but they're making it awfully hard on us most games this season.

I thought Lafferty ran himself ragged. As another poster, I noticed he broke up a few plays. He's definitely not a wide player. If Boydie gets hurt or sold, then I might give Laff a shot at the central striker role for a few games. I too will take the point as the team in general was poor and it hurt losing Nacho early in the first half.

The midfield did not support the strikers at all today. It's hard to blame Boyd or the other strikers' if they're not given enough good passes remember Super Ally missed chances too. But I agree it is ridiculous that they haven't managed a goal in three SPL matches especially against today's opposition, chock full of youngsters.

I like Davis' work rate but he almost always seems to lose control or pass to his opponents once he reaches the opponents' 18!
