  1. Keep Bell as a back up but he is not a Rangers goalie.
  2. He's a bear no one has ever denied that. No shock he's following the team.
  3. I agree we were desperate for the cash. Plus the lad will be set for life based on 3 years at Liverpool. I'd take him back but he's never a top drawer player (CL) which illustrates the down sizing at the San Giro if they really are after him.
  4. I would try and tackle. He's simply the best of a bad lot and would not be anywhere near a Rangers Jersey in normal times.
  5. Steady. He played well can pass but lacks pace which is why he won't be good enough long term. There are many players like big Kyle who have ability but no pace and that is the main ingredient required in modern football.
  6. Exactly we 'got lucky' last week we won't be 'lucky' twice no matter how ridiculous that statement is our current team are not up to the task.
  7. That won't happen we don't have the cash. They'll be gone in the summer the $64000 question is where does the cash come from to replace them?
  8. Has to be a joke? The guys a tool who has it in for Rangers.
  9. Should have been shown the door after the Dundee Hibs cup tie. The fact that McCoist resigned him and let Gallagher go say more about Ally the manager than anything else. The worst keeper I've ever seen in a Rangers top in 40 years.
  10. He was indeed. When will we see that standard of team again?
  11. I think they will on the day take us apart and win by a big margin 6 or 7 goals. I've dreaded us drawing them in any competition since Whyte shafted us.
  12. Simonsen makes Maxwell look like Buffon or Yashin. I cannot stand the guy the worst keeper I've seen in 45 years of following Rangers. Maybe McCoist can explain why he resigned him and freed Gallacher?
  13. Tend to agree but he surely would be better than Ally?
  14. Could not have put that better. Says it all really.
  15. Agreed. Don't understand keeping an older keeper who was a total nightmare v Dundee Hibs. Strange decision.
  16. Agreed mate. I doubt there is any Rangers fan who supports the current board but unless someone makes a realistic financial offer the board will remain. The big concern is how this board will fund the club any sale and lease back is the end of the road look at Coventry City and Leeds. King is simply the latest in a long line of 'rich' Rangers fans who speak a lot but say little and have deep pockets but short arms. All that happens is the Rangers family gets more fragmented. Sad.
  17. Nope - multi millionaire King sits down with the current owners and utter the phrase 'how much'. They haggle a bit a deal is done and hey presto. Instead you set up some kind of fund run by King with some strange choices of associates and ask that we pledge cash. There by achieving what? I'm fed up with King, Kennedy, Park & McColl all having deep pockets and short arms. Unless some one steps in with cash we are goosed. Not buying a season ticket is a matter of choice - one which I decided not to take. So for better or for worse I've paid up. So what about you Mr King?
  18. So I renewed by mailing a cheque yesterday. Fallen out with my best mate and his boy. My problem is probably the same as everyone. The current board are indeed 'bad news' but the white knight Mr King seems unable or unwilling to cough up the cash to buy out the current regime. A fund full of the fans pledged cash seems a very odd way of actually trying to buy the club. I dread the future unless there is massive change but I couldn't abandon the team. So I'm in the back the team not the regime camp. I might lose my £365.00 which I cannot afford.
  19. Not a bash Ally post but he chose the route we went on now I think we have to accept that season 1 he was toiling and had to sign who ever we could. My issue is season 2 all the signings were 'lazy' and like the OP I think we should have opted for youth. It will always be an opportunity lost. That said if we'd built up a cash reserve fund would the current regime have pocketed it?
  20. You become a creditor and will get nothing or pence in the pound. That is why the credit card bit is so devastating it means the card service provider believes the long term future of the business is 'questionable'.
  21. My thoughts exactly. Football has been dire we've brought in guys we didn't need to win Leagues 3 & 2. We have a board we can't trust with people on it who would have Bill Struth turning in his grave. Then we have King, Paul Murray, Kennedy, Park & McColl who all want to 'help' but despite enormous wealth won't 'step up and pay'. So in short I don't know whom I trust and I don't want to hold back my cash and see the club fold. It's a total shambles and it has been since the day SDM sold us down the river (pushed by Lloyds).
  22. Until now I've kept my doubts about Ally to myself. To me today showed that he is not the man to be our manager. He is a great Ranger and could do a great job on the board (not sure about this board though). We need a proper 'coach' and we will need one badly next season. I'm old enough to have seen another great Rangers fall short (John Greig) so it is sad to see history repeat but that is what happens.
  23. Always do the CCCS but I was away for all of the pre season so I didn't want to chuck cash away. Won't be there Sunday due to work and for that reason missed the Dunfermline game. Result is I missed out on a Ramsden ticket and if we made the SC final I'll probably miss that too. Agree RFC blundered with the friendly stuff - or was it greed?
