  1. There is no greater fan experience, away from the match. You guys fucking rock.
  2. *Peña. Pronounced, Penya.
  3. Now that RTV is using HD without flash player, you should be able to log in through your smart TVs web browser. I have done this today with my LG smart TV. Marseille highlights played just fine. Just thought I'd share for those real supporters who don't steal from RTV.
  4. God's not real. So, I would say Rangers are a Scottish Unionist club.
  5. Speaking from experience, as a qualified sports coach who has worked with adult amateur players, when you over-complicate tactics and instructions players can seriously lose the message or completely fail to attempt them - with disastrous consequences as we saw last night. I'm not saying Caixinha's methods are correct or incorrect, for this environment. But if the delivery is over-complicated, our more basic players aren't going to get it.
  6. You remember the time Pedro made 3 substitutions at half time? You were lucky if McCoist made 3 in two games. They are not alike. Caixinha's philosophy and methodology appears to be too advanced for the majority of players he is working with (and our fans). Plus, he is delivering it in 2/3 languages. McCoist had no philosophy.
  7. This is quite common in other team sports, such as rugby. We did this all the way through school, with teams being named on a Thursday morning so that there were two sessions to train match specific drills and tactics. It is also done at Elite level (or else I wouldn't make the point). Tuesday does appear early, I suppose. But the concept in general I approve of.
  8. How else could the club prove to UEFA, with the knowledge that FARE were aiming to target us for singing 'sectarian' anthems, that the club had done everything reasonably practicable to prevent us singing 'sectarian' anthems?
  9. 6 years we wait to play European football and dopey little cunts get the game stopped by throwing paper. Awesome.
  10. I have a season ticket for Scotland rugby currently. I am not a true fan. *I was a true fan when this thread was posted.
  11. Lacks the mental strength to maximise his potential. Desperately needs to begin Psychological Skills Training, with a Sports Psychologist, if he hasn't already.
  12. This is not a club built on making 'damage limitation' a priority, is it? If you want to know/build the character of someone in your team/employment, I would advise you to make them feel vulnerable and see how they respond. Caixinha has suggested many times through interviews that he has a strong understanding of sports psychology - he repeatedly discusses "behaviours" and "stimulations", very common language in psychology. He may have been simply trying to win the game, or he may have been challenging his players in a way that showed who had the mental capacity to represent this club, even when you're being embarrassed at home. On that day, only Miller and Hill were capable of standing up to the challenge. It was a very telling experience and I am certain that Caixinha took a vast amount from it.
  13. Aye, the old stick-your-head-in-the-sand tactic. Being prepared to expose, and then learn from, your own vulnerability is a huge strength in sports (and business, personal, etc) development.
  14. Often, they're on RM as well, so I've heard.
  15. Very opportunistic. Landing this gig is pretty much a guarantee to become a Premier League manager the season after. I guess, he does have two promotions under his belt...
  16. Unfortunately, he doesn't have the mental strength to play for Rangers. I hope playing at a less significant club, with far less pressure, can allow him to increase self-esteem (and presumably, control anxiety).
  17. A few players appear leaner than they were until recently. McKay in particular. Hopefully a sign of better fitness all round.
  18. Are you Chris Sutton?
  19. Well done The Dude. When I was a wannabe writer and editor, I would have loved to write for someone and be paid for it. In fact, I was trying to get this gig before it started, but it wasn't to be. There are always going to be people who support Rangers online who hate on the next Rangers man through jealousy, or short-sightedness. It doesn't matter who you are or what you do. Fair play to you for having the confidence to publish your work through the Record on RM.
  20. Absolutely, no objection to that. You don't have to report people and get them in to further trouble - however, I will go that far if I have to ask someone to stop being racist and they repeatedly refuse my polite requests. It won't be long until I have a child to take to Ibrox. Woe betide anyone who dares to repeatedly use racist language in front of my child. I was bought up in a racist area (predominantly white to Pakistani AND vice versa) and it has taken me a long time to overcome those influences. I don't intend to move backwards now by accepting that type of behaviour at Ibrox.
