You do remember we had at least 7 central midfielders just after kaunas in mendes, ferguson, mculloch, davis, edu, adam, thomson, ridiculous. Then stupid signings like beattie. keeping fringe players on who had no chance of a game. Every bit all adds up and then bain taking a wage way over 10% of club turnover. negligence and weak willed all of them. no long term strategy of the club finance or the tax case at all.

to be honest we have been pretty crap for the last few seasons, apart from a few games here and there, celtic being the best this season. Look at the spl and what going on in other leagues. It's like watching a different sport at times. look at basel this year agaisnt man utd and compare what we were like agaisnt them. Im not on about the results just the way they played over the two legs. The likes of malmo and maribor were too good for us. Hearts were mugged 5-0 on their own patch by tottenham who played at about 60% and rest have done fuck all for years. The standard of scottish football gets worse every year and we just getting more negative in our approach to the game. The spl and our team have no pace, tempo, basic abilty to pass and move, our reading of the game is atrocious, first touch jezzo, i can go on forever. too many people burying their heads in the sand. We are the best of a pathetic bunch nothing more, more and more kids are supporting the big english teams now, our support will dwindle in future years if we don't get our act together and provide better entertainment. its supposed to be the beautiful game, that a dying trait of the scottish game. i actually get bored watching us play shamefully. Most of my workmates are the same way about their teams too, aberdeen, celtic, dundee utd fans. The spl is dying on its knees and the people who have run it over the years have dragged us too, even lead the death too, even to the point where dire is an acceptable level of play. put it this way a fat lazy fucker(boyd) was the best goal scorer and a slow 41 year old(weir) who in his prime was decent at best defender with no distribution skills were amongst the top performers in our league just shows up how bad some spl players are.

I'm at montrose and only playing the wee broomfield course 4500 yards long plus it's flat and fairly forgiving but next year will get the season ticket for the medal course which is only 110 quid more for the season with the broomy included aswell.

totally agree with op. 1 win in over 20 games in europe is shocking, worse than Derby's premierships season. Yes we have put in the odd great back to the wall performance, but we have failed miserably agaisnt teams that we should be well capable of beating like kanuas, maribor, unriea, malmo. We seem too concentrate far too much emphasis on stopping the opposition playing than applying pressure on them, not just in europe but a lot of the spl games as well.

if mcmillan does not get his chance now at 23 when will he. whitaker and broadfoot both have had many chances and both in my eyes failed miserably, not being negative but one is a carthorse and the other is a deer in the headlights when someone's actually running at him. i would like to see jordan get a run in team, liked him when watching the old rangers tv before setanta went bust. i don't see the point of jordan being at the club though if he can't get a fair chance. just took golf up not that long ago only to be told by my mates who regulary play that i have a cack handed grip and i should change to convential grip instantly. it feels alien to me though, just not in the grip but i feel it restrictive in my left shoulder and chest area. my main problem with whittaker is how he struggles when he is defending when the oppo are running at him, he bloody terrified when it happens. He always makes the wrong decision in that situation, plus he lets too many crosses in to the box. Got a decent strike on him though, and is one of our better players with the ball on either foot.

really, when any of them play, i just don't have any confidence in them to perform to a high standard. Wasted wages all of them for me.

that's why i said if, cause no one really knows. I think it is bad enough that he was given a 5 year contract in the first place, the boy just can't defend, at times is a real liabiality. Of the last 3 seasons i would say he is by far the weakest of our back 4. I just can't fathom why our management would give such a long term contract to a player who is so inconsistent, it's not like he earned it like mcgregor who is performing heroics on a weekly basis. to me, it just seems rangers as a club keep making the same mistakes over and over again.

i'm the same, terrible fight. haye head movement was better than usual but his offence sucked and that falling over got on my nerves after a while. Klitchko was bad too, fought at a faster rate than usual but just same old tactics. Klitchko gets so on my nerves, he goes on about how everyone is just cautious after a few rounds. haye spent half the fight goading him in with his hands down yet he couldn't do shit. tyson, holyfield, lewis all kick the living crap out of those two.
