Davie Cooper was my hero when I was young, sometimes the only shining light in some dark days supporting the Bears. He could have walked away to England and perhaps more money and 'better teams' but he stayed and fought our corner. He could be magical and yes, frustrating but he was ours.
Don't know if underrated is right but Ally Dawson had all the potential to be a Rangers great....but fate intervened with the car crash, fractured skull etc.
Aye we watch some shite in Scotland but its not a new phenomenon.... but the EPL myth gets on my tits, there's loads of pish teams in that too and I'd rather watch Rangers anytime anyway. Fuxake. :chopometer:
Rangers were fantastic that day. And watching the highlights again, it just comes back to me what a team of cheating thugs that selik team were. :chopometer:
I wonder how many Bears have got any of their images that were removed from youtube, still on their PC's or cameras? Where did all the youtube stuff go?
This happened to me and my brothers, what wasn't helping also, was the stewards at the fanzone barriers were taking tenners off fans and letting them into the already insanely crushed area. The rumour about the screens was spreading like wildfire and we tried to get out of the city centre back to Bury, which was a nightmare also as the Trams were off. 6pm to 7pm there was like a refugee camp.
There would have been a lot of discussion around the stupidity of the creation of an 'Irish catholic' team in Glasgow, as it surely would only cause difficulties and hate where there was none before.
Alex Rae had a certain passion for gettin' intae them, also Tam Forsyth and I do believe a Mr McCoist enjoyed scoring against them, again and again and again...
Unless your ideal Rangers team of all time is Jelavic, Jelavic, Jelavic, Jelavic, Jelavic, Jelavic, Jelavic, McCulloch, Jelavic, Jelavic, Jelavic. Then give it a rest. Fucksake.
