  1. Welcome pal. To the best RFC forum.
  2. Fantastic news for Brian and his family, especially just before christmas. Lang may yer lum reek, legend.
  3. NO way!!! After the way he treated us during contract talks. He wanted more money than he was worth. Now the harsh reality of life outside Ibrox is like. Hard line Boyd you had a job for life and you shit in the nest. Now fuck off.
  4. Brilliant. Plus the next time any any eejit suggests bringing in foreign refs to control Celtics matches lets make sure they have been fully briefed by the catholic church as to whats expected of them. Allowing those highlanders to score two goals is just not acceptable, something should have been thought of to prevent such a calamity. FFS.
  5. Kenny Miller has been a brilliant player for us in the SPL, but to be fair he doesn't cut it on the big stage. I don't know whether its the system Walter employs in these games or not, but he just seems out of his depth against top opposition. But lazy FFS.
  6. yeah must admit sitting in my lounge room at 12.000 midnight alone wathing the gers on setanta is not really atmosphere. Thats why when the boys came out here in July standing with all the other bears belting out BB and the Bouncy etc was absolute magic. WATP.
  7. McCulloch is an absolute waste of space. How he keeps on getting a start does my head in. Supposed to be a holding midfielder which means you should be able to tackle and break up play also find a player from your OWN TEAM I seriously doubt he could find his own arse with both hands. But he is not the only one, today our back four and the midfield were non existant and if Walter runs that team on against Man U midweek we will get crucified. As someone said in a previous post the whole team need a rocket and the excuse being thrown up that they are tired is just bullshit, they are professional atheletes that are pampered and primped with the the very best equipment and training facilities. If they cannot play two games of football in a week and perform at the highest level then there is something seriously wrong. When we played, albeit in an amateur league in our 20's to 30's we quite often played two games in one day and managed. I honestly think the main ingredient missing is heart.
  8. What particular skills does John Greig bring to the Board of RFC I believe is the question being asked. The answer is simple he would bleed for us, he is Rangers through and through and when other members of the board who may, in others opinion, be far more qualified to a position on the board are there for their varied business skills. John Greig is there because he loves Rangers and will look at any proposal in front of the board with blue tinted glasses, how will this affect the name of Rangers. Others on the board will look after the financial aspects of any proposal. But Greig will always be looking after the greatest football team in the world and that is why he deserves his place on the board.
  9. McGregor caldow McKinnon Gough Numan Laudrup Gascoigne Baxter Cooper Brand McCoist
  10. Ah! FFS get a grip you negative bastards. Yes we are not at our best but ahhh! fuck it whats the point. :nukepiggary:
  11. I am seriously disgusted by this display by this scum. Celtic purport to be a scottish football team yet they obviously condoned these banners otherwise 1) They would have never got into the ground and 2) the number of people needed to support these banners means it was not just a few. Stewards at the ground were also guilty because as soon as they started to unfurl them they should have been up there in force and torn them down. The SFA also stand condemned for their comment of "Regretable". Without sounding paranoid can you imagine the furore from all quarters if we had equally inflamatory banners at Ibrox. lets see what they do in the coming days as to finding the culprits and banning them for life from all scottish football grounds.
  12. Regardless of who SAF puts on the park we can beat them ta Ibrox and he knows it. They are still not up to their usual standards. Trust in Walter to put the right team on the park with the right tactics. We win 2-1.
  13. In my lounge room on Setanta. Rangers win 2-0. WATP
  14. Seriously,as much as there are some posters on here who take offence at every little thing, there is a definite bias against Rangers when it comes to reporting. I watch every game televised on setanta involving Rangers and you can hear it in the commentators voices whenever the opposition are attacking or there is an incident they are definitely against us. Even here in OZ there is scant reporting on the SPL but if Celtic win the result is in there with a few lines, when we win nuthin. Rangers draw on wednesday nuthin every other CL match got a mention. So there is definitely bias against us even here.
  15. I went 2-0 and no reds. Having watched celtic play a few times this year on setanta, apart from Hooper, they don't have anyone capable of scoring against our defense. Their defence is fuckin atrocious Miller, Weiss and Naismith will tear them apart and with Davis continuing on from Wednesday pulling all the strings in midfield.
  16. Steven Naismith has always had the potential but this year is putting it into practice. His runs into scoring positions and his strength on the ball is second to none. Long may it continue.
  17. Yeah great post Frankie, all true but unfortunately McGregor asked for it. There are posters on this forum who are just as bad as those in the media and on the dark side, they are just as paranoid about them as they are about us. Refeferees have a very difficult job and especially when the game is televised because they know that every incident will be replayed ad nauseam from every angle and even in slow motion, so the smug bastards commentating can make themselves sound half intelligent " I can't understand why he missed that" refs have a split second to make a decision and depending on 1)Did he see it. 2) what angle was he at when it happened, will affect his call. Don't get me wrong I argued long and loud with refs when I played and when I coached but theirs is the hardest job on the park.
  18. Fuck off idiot. Us old Bears were singing and chanting when you were a sticky mess in your old mans baw bag.
  19. Live in Australia. Makes it hard to get there. Couldn't get a connecting flight from heathrow in time.
  20. I wasn't in Manchester either, but watching on TV. I wouldn;t criticise anyone in a blue shirt tonight, fantastic result. The balls Miller was getting weren't of the highest quality either our midfield was in too much of a hurry to pass the ball, but hey we were awesome.
  21. Has been an inspiration to all at Ibrox. The man is a legend.
