  1. Dissapointed Lees been shifted to the back. 6-1 my prediction, hopefully we get 4 in the 1st half.
  2. I dont have anything against smokers, when i go out on the piss i am pretty much the anti-social one who holds the table as i am one of the only non smokers. I just dont think it should be allowed inside the stadium, just like booze.
  3. If someone would avoid going to Ibrox to see Rangers because you can't smoke, then feel free to remain at home. I can see the reason behind the vapour stuff but am i the only one who thinks this is a shit idea especially in the hospitality? Reason: How many of us take our kids to the game? Do you want your kid seeing hunners of people putting something in their mouth that looks cool, go back 10/15 years ago smoking was cool. This is its replacement. Just because your not getting the shit that comes in fags you are still addicted to the nicotine, give it 5 years before the government start taxing the shit out of these.
  4. The way i think this should be dealt with is the SFA fine the player found guilty thats it, unless they bet against their national team (so for arguments sake) Ian is an internationalist the SFA can ban him for some matches but if he was English they pass their findings onto the FA of England for them to deal with as they see fit. His current playing club should then be left to decide should they ban him for any games or terminate his contract (with no payout to the player)
  5. Well that last line is why YOU lot dont get invited any more, bunch of ragers! Almost as bad as the RAF How come you didnae get on the pitch last year? All i know is that they are taking names down at the minute to get numbers for tickets, the info was on my Sqn orders so best person to speak to would be the person who does yours or get your line management to enquire. Alternatively find the most senior bluenose and ask them thats what i'll be doing No very much doubt it, the gun was to mark the start and end of the silence.
  6. From being at last years gathering on the 10th November, i can see why some people may have had cause for complain. We were there to celebrate Remembrance Sunday and we marked that with the almost impeccably observed silence. We then at half time got carried away as 400 of us were out in front of over 48K fans cheering for us. Who wouldn't??? The way round this was to have a second day to allow us to get carried away and hopefully the 28th of September (or as close to it) is the new day. We can then also come down on the weekend of Remembrance Sunday and not get carried away. The 10th of November 2012 is a day that i will never forget (or anyone else who was there on the pitch) the reception we received from the fans was unbelievable, if you think sitting in the stand and hearing 48K people signing 'Rule Britannia' is loud , you would have to triple that to come close to how loud it was for us in the middle of it. Hairs on back of necks were not standing they had quite simply been scared off the necks. Without a shadow of a doubt in two weeks time, it will be even better than last year.
  7. Just found out today that on the 28th of this month when we play Stenny, The Armed Forces will be making an appearance. Not sure on numbers as i have been away on a course and only just read my Sqn orders from the last week and a half but my names going down again as the last time was immense.
  8. I've got one for work and one at home, the home one i've had for years and had to superglue the handle back on. The one for work has been replaced a couple of times due to breakages when moving from place to place. Got a pint glass adn one of them ones you put in the freezer from yonks ago. I recon thats got to be about 10 years old at least.
  9. I recon, if he bet against his own team, we as a club should terminate his contract. Regardless of what the SFA do, no player should ever bet against his team fuck sake I never do and i only support the club. Another find from a couple of years ago, (came across it by accident when looking for something else) By Tom Hamilton 'Mad gamblers' in SPL can beat addiction just like I did, says Kevin Kyle 5 Feb 2011 00:00 FOOTBALL star Kevin Kyle has told how the Scottish Premier League is rife with "mad gamblers". FOOTBALL star Kevin Kyle has told how the Scottish Premier League is rife with "mad gamblers". The Hearts striker - who used to have a £7000-a-week betting addiction - insists there are players at EVERY top-flight club hooked on gambling. And he is now determined to help them beat their habit. Kyle, 29, said: "I could probably pick any team in the SPL and know someone, through word of mouth, who's a mad gambler." Scotland cap Kyle admits he used to blow his entire weekly wages at the bookies. He began punting as a teenager but it spiralled out of control when he started his senior career at Sunderland. And a serious injury in 2004 that kept him out for two years brought the problem to a head. Kyle - who had spells in the English lower leagues before returning to Scotland with Kilmarnock in 2009 - said: "I remember, come the end of each month, having no money left for getting to training, or wanting to go home to Scotland because I'd just be gambling it all away. "It was a disaster and I didn't know who to turn to or how I was going to combat this problem, and that's why it probably gripped me for a good 15 years. I've been an addictive gambler for years. "I'd bet on who would be next to walk in that door. It's been with me since I was about 13. "Fruit machines, betting shops, casinos - then all of a sudden it's completely out of control. "I didn't do it because I needed the money. I did it because I was completely bored." But Kyle has now conquered his demons. And yesterday, he spoke of his support for a new project aimed at educating players about the problems. The scheme is being led by players' union PFA Scotland and highlights the dangers of excessive gambling. The union will work with counselling group RCA to take the pilot to some of Scotland's senior clubs. Kyle puts his rehabilitation down to the help and love of his partner but believes the new approach can work - provided the support is offered over a sustained period. Kyle, who moved to Hearts last summer, said: "If that opportunity had come where I could speak to somebody confidentially, it would've been easier. "Being a gambler, you feel ashamed of yourself, so to go and speak to someone about it is a very brave thing to do "I'm sure there are kids in youth teams and even senior players who are looking for this kind of help but they're maybe too scared to speak to somebody about it. "But if somebody comes to them, it might be the opportunity where they can actually open up and hopefully get it sorted out, because gambling is every bit as bad as drink and drugs.
  10. No he shouldn't be dropped and neither should Scott G. However if Ally decides to have another pairing up front, Jig should NOT be pushed back into defence that is not his position, just because we have played him there before and he has done a great job does not help the youngsters trying to get regular games. This has always been our problem with bringing youth players on, we give them one or two games here and there and expect them to impress us every time they step out onto the pitch.
  11. IF Mike Ashley (or anyone else for that matter) were to buy rangers outright, how would they go about it now that we are on the stock market. Would they be required to buy all the current shares from everyone or would they need a high percentage, if the latter what happens to those who dont sell? I would rather we had one person in charge, a lot easier to control the money being spent. If the person spending can control himself.
  12. bloddy unlucky not to score as well. Another reason why he should play before that fucktard.
  13. Hopefully we dont get Raith, fuck giving them financial help.
  14. Its bad enough trying to get away after the game if your driving. If drink was brought back, imagine how longer the delays would be with the pigs brethalyzing every driver on the way out.
  15. Never seen him play for us as i was too young, but as my dad was a Motherwell fan i went to a fair amount of games. I remember wondering even at a young age, why this guy was playing for them as he stood out by a country mile. Obviously as i got older i realised how much of a big fish he was in the Motherwell pond.
  16. Love it but watch the mhedia jump all over this saying it encourages sectarianism and he gets banned for 6 matches.
  17. IMO thats not a bad price, normally spend £17 for a ticket, £5 to park in someone's work yard, £3 programme, adding another £25 for lunch, half time snack+drink (minimal queues), somewhere to warm up in winter, a bit of entertainment and to top it off meet Broxi. Thats a good price.
  18. Cheers for the link. Was someone no slagging Kyle Mc off yesterday? I know its seems to be the norm to slag our players off, but two great over the top balls that lead to goals.
  19. Good competition for places, threat of being off loaded if not up to standard, the performance against Newcastle, good pre season, more experienced youngsters in the 1st team, better competition and more confidence especially with the younger players having had game time. and no doubt lots more reasons edit: oh and we don't seem to be scared of putting a few past the opposition, last year i thought most of the time we went out to win by 2-0 or 3-0, not expecting to give away goals and not wanting to humiliate the teams as that would not have been good for them. Its always nice getting a big win but it doesn't really achieve anything for us where we currently are.
  20. Was absolutely immense, some cunt next to me was banging away at a massive drum Hoping to see a couple of pics from today.
  21. Yeah, so do we all. Thing is its easy to get carried away with the negative stuff and forget the good things. Hopefully they will stop the stupid pish soon as it goes against what we are all about and give the mhedia ammo.
  22. Hopefully the guys of BF1 still have this and can get it brought along to the game:
  23. fucking idiots out again wae the flares. Whats the point??? Nice goal, as well
