  1. aye maybe in the dark ages. as someone else said the folk who complain about this sort of thing need to have a good look at themselves and get a grip.
  2. Is David Tennant a Rangers fan? Never heard that one before. Always thought Moyes was a Celtic man, though I know Paul Lambert was a Rangers fan before signing for them, and his Dad ended up giving up his season ticket for Ibrox due to the stick he got when Lambert signed for them. Biffy are Killie fans though, they've talked about going to Rugby Park when they were younger on Radio 1 before.
  3. What? Since when did Fortune cost £400k? His transfer was a deal worth up to £4m whilst Laffertys was £3.75 million including performance related bonuses.
  4. surely we already have the man we want, and all we want to happen is for Boydy to sign his new contract.
  5. Just back from the game and I agree, thought Thomson while not back to his best played relatively well tonight. Fleck needs to work on his shooting and seems apprehensive at taking a man on when he got into the final third tonight, maybe he just wants to keep his asking price low so he can make more money in wages on his move down south
  6. If he had wanted to come off right away he would have. In all likeliness he has tried to run off the knock, not been able to and then he's came off.
  7. Fuck if McGeadys worth £14 million and Babels worth £12 million, Charlie going for £5 million wouldn't surprise me. More money than sense in the Premiership these days.
  8. To be fair I think I agree with that... he would be a revelation at one of these sides, especially in the canteen. Heard he makes a smashing cuppa!
  9. minstral..you stagger me. since sounness we signed our 1st catholic,we had our 1st catholic captain. you are a rangers fan,but you make no sense..we have muslims etc playing for us now..sorry..but you are soundind very anti catholic..thats sad. Sounness never signed our first Catholic. the 1st catholic to play for rangers was Pat Lafferty in 1886 even before the mhanky mob were founded for religious and sectarian reasons so the young catholic boys of glasgow wouldn't go to the protestant soup kitchen incase they converted from catholicism to protestantism not for charitable reasons like they want you to think and they stole most of hibs players for their 1st ever game so brother walfrid wasn't as nice as he seemed while our so called bigoted and sectarian club were founded by 4 young teenagers for their pure love of football Yip. The sectarian elements in our support only seems to have come about as a reaction to having a prominent catholic club as our main rival. Which is pretty sad when you think about it. Religion and Politics has no part in football, no matter what other clubs think, shame we can't take the first step ourselves though.
  10. Whittaker tends to look better playing on the left as it allows him to cut inside onto his right foot and shoot more.
  11. Fleck in particular should look at James McCarthy and the difficulty he's having breaking into the first team at Wigan, and he went down there with much more first team experience than Fleck has had. Fleck really hasn't made the breakthrough that has been expected of him, and for all the shouts of he's not being played in his best position, at his age he has to grab whatever chance comes his way... he hasn't. For those reasons the boy should think long and hard about whether he wants to swap a big club in a small pond, for a small club in a big pond where his chances of getting a game will probably be worse as our financial position means blooding the kids in is going to become more prominent next season. But if he wants to go let him, he's no big loss at the moment, and it will allow those with more hunger to come through and hopefully they'll grab their chance.
  12. Birds throwing themselves at him and some mother of two thinks he forced himself on her... gtf! Innocent.
  13. nice one on getting the site back up and running lads!
  14. Is that a full of shite site? Have a look for yourself - http://www.football-rumours.co.uk/ You mean Michael Carrick won't be going back to West Ham?
  15. Follow his adventures on Match of the Day? He's going straight to the Championship, Football League Show from day 1... he's found his level.
  16. We all call for the youth to get a fair crack, yet when the opportunity arises due to injury up pop threads about the possibility of signing Kevin Kyle and Lee Miller, come on to grips. It's not the mid 90s again when we didn't have a proper, heavily financed youth setup and needed to supplement the first team by signing stop gaps and squad players from the rest of the league. We have the youth players in depth, and until they get a chance we'll never know if they can make it. 7 points clear with our next fixtures against Hamilton (x2), Hearts, St. Mirren, Falkirk, St. Johnstone and Motherwell is the ideal opportunity to do this, so fuck your Kevin Kyle and Lee Miller and c'mon the youths!
  17. Buffon and Nesta, Iniesta and Cesc, same nationality. This is a lot harder than it looks! Ah, I clearly did not read the instructions right. Thought it was no more than 2 from each team/nationality. fixed: Buffon Sagna Vidic Carragher Lahm Iniesta Essien Sneijder C. Ronaldo Luis Fabiano Aguero
  18. Buffon and Nesta, Iniesta and Cesc, same nationality. This is a lot harder than it looks! Ah, I clearly did not read the instructions right. Thought it was no more than 2 from each team/nationality.
  19. "American lad Andrew Quinn coming for trail?" Hell of a time of year to be doing the West Highland Way
  20. Buffon Maicon Vidic Nesta Evra Iniesta Essien Fabregas C. Ronaldo Drogba Messi
  21. Was it this? i like it..mc call has made an influence It was brought out for their 100th year Close, it was brought out to celebrate 100 years at Firhill last year. Was at the game yesterday and Tuffey played well in goals, I've noticed we've been linked with him in the past and would rather go after him than Weaver if we were looking for another keeper. He also came over to the home end and threw his gloves into the crowd after the game which led to some of the old Jags around me to say the rumours about him being for the off must be true.
  22. anyone asked Edu or Beasley on Twitter?
  23. Buckfast Loyal here seems to have the boxers possessing his tiny sacks in a knot. Though to be fair to him, his ability to write in ned has gave me a right good laugh (laff?).
  24. How long does a pitch inspection take these days?
  25. Yeah he would be free to sign for another club this year as he didn't appear in any of PSGs 4 league games before he signed his loan agreement with us on the 1st September.
