  1. Exactly what distance are these fans travelling who are "coming from Raith"? Surely to fuck these quotes are from two different interviews...if not what an astounding contradiction to make in one statement. Baffling!
  2. In a two team competition, Rory McIlroy has declared he supports "anyone" but England for the Ashes!
  3. Fair enough but Torres' problems started when he cut his hair so hardly the same as what happened with Mols!
  4. Each of those bodies already have, it just gets ignored when it doesn't suit their agenda. They still have hope the ASA may find in their favour upon appeal though. If not they will just move on to the next one.
  5. I, like others have said, would support this. Would love for UEFA to investigate the actions of SFA in this matter; 5-way agreement & presumption of guilt, "blackmailing" 1st division clubs, taking receipt of funds due to Rangers (transfer fees for Davis & Fleck) & keeping them (unless that has since been resolved?), imposing punishments that a court of law declared were outwith their own stated terms, being party to SPL blackmailing us to give up TV rights for football licence...for starters! That all said, the whole resolution is a load of pish. They talk about "unprecedented" membership transfer between companies, when there clearly has been precedent; Leeds & Coventry for example. Obviously FA & SFA are separate but given their complaint is meant for UEFA, you would look further afield for comparative treatment. There was an article not that long ago that showed something like 40 clubs in England are now owned & operated under a different company number than since their inception. I am unaware of any that were sent to the bottom of their league system for this transfer? In fact, us being sent to Division 3 is what is unprecedented and so actually is worthy of investigation just not for the reason the scum would want!
  6. It is amazing how much someone can write to provide what is effectively a list of questions with zero answers, i.e. he knows fuck all! This is journalism in Scotland today unfortunately!
  7. You can buy them from Ticketmaster in Spain- http://www.ticketmaster.es/nav/landings/en/deportes/entradas_malaga_cf/index.html?q=malaga&t=fast
  8. ESPN tried to do that with Mowbray when he was complaining constantly, even had the TV beside him. He point blank refused to watch the video, saying "I saw it at the time so don't need to watch a replay" or similar. Laughable! For this to happen to "Lenny" though, it would require the TV companies not to be fawning all over his "heroic" team!
  9. Wick Academy at home, my brother's team...would be a dream for him to play at Ibrox!
  10. You can have it both ways but I think this campaign is specifically about gay footballers rather than bisexual! No issue with attempts to raise awareness of the issue but I do think the laces are somewhat gimmicky and possibly even pandering to stereotypes? If, as has been suggested, Paddy Power are backing it and also offering books on players coming out then it is actually a fucking disgrace!
  11. Is it justifiable to hate people who do not understand "unjustly hate"? On topic; random one...Keith Andrews. I remember when he signed for Blackburn, I immediately decided he was not good enough for the EPL and wanted him to fail! This was despite the fact i don't even care about Blackburn, didn't really know who Keith Andrews was or had even really seen him play before???
  12. Could it be as simple as hedging his bets to the extent he will be due a win bonus if we were to win but is using a bet to cover against the risk of us not winning but him still being able to pocket some cash? If that was his logic, you would expect he would have done it more than 3 times over a 7 year period but? Fuck knows, struggling to work out the logic here!
  13. Highland League team, but do have a bit of money behind them. They were recently paying Derek Soutar (ex Dundee keeper) £600 a week!
  14. Honestly can't get my head around Madrid's willingness to pay so much for Bale. For me there is a debate if he is even the best player in England or in the top 10 in the world yet, it would seem, is going to become the world's most expensive player??? I don't think Bale has proved himself a level above the likes of RVP, Mata or Suarez and if you look further afield then you have (I'm not saying all these players are better than Bale...although some of them clearly are! but the rest surely comparable and worthy of debate): Iniesta Fabregas Xavi Ozil Isco Muller Robben Ribery Schweinsteiger Gotze Reus Ibrahimovic Falcao Cavani Pirlo This ignores the obvious Messi & Ronaldo who are miles ahead of Bale!
  15. Yeah the multiple log-ins annoy me to. Also don't understand why they don't show the score and time during games (although did do so last season for the few games that were broadcast live in UK!)...minor issues but seem such simple fixes! I live in Spain so signed up for the full package, as only being an hour ahead have no issues watching all the games live. Not sure where the OP is based but if ko times are not practical then prob worth considering the reduced package that has watch-as-live delayed transmission?
  16. Stenson, Snedeker to win & Zach Johnson, Jiminez ew. Woods does not have great history at this course (worst ever 72 hole score at a major?). I think if you look over the last couple of years when Woods wins and gets everyone thinking he's back his wins tend to come on courses he has a good track record at. That combined with the need for driving accuracy and fact he is 3-1 (ridiculous odds even in his prime!) has me staying away from him. That said, he may offer more value in the handicap market, as when he wins he tends to do so comfortably rather than a close fight on the Sunday evening, so maybe backing him with 3 shot handicap could make the odds more appealing?
  17. Agree! Previously Barca had a back 4 of Alves, Puyol, Pique & Abidal. Alves had freedom to attack and they had the security of Abidal covering to provide a back 3 at times. Now with Alves & Alba (who I rate) on the flanks they are regularly left exposed. Even moreso given Puyol's fitness meaning Mascherano is generally at CB! A solid reliable CB is a must (which I don't think Luiz is) and may even have to look at replacing Alves with a more conservative RB as well, as Alba should be LB long-term.
  18. Aye, they are effectively 200-1 batting at 3.5 per over. Could easily build up lead of 350 and get England back in tonight...weather permitting!
  19. Aye didn't quite get the reference to Green (although that could be linked to the rumour Green is coming back because of concerns about the finances?), in terms of the attempts to get in the boardroom for arrogant selfish purposes without investing, then have to assume that is aimed at P Murray.
  20. Agree, legally we or BDO (on behalf of oldco) have no claim on that money. What I don't understand is why there has never been any questioning as to why the SPL had any right to this money. It was either theft from us (newco) given the insistence on paying football debts or it was theft from oldco (and also those poor creditors we are always being criticised for stiffing). Either way, how can anyone argue the SPL and their clubs earned/deserved the money? Didn't Doncaster claim on the radio he would disclose where this money went once league reconstruction was complete?
  21. Well yes & no on that one! The SPL will not make this decision the SPFL will. Obviously last year it was the SPL & SFL. The SPL decided they do not accept newcos. The SFL decided they would accept newcos. Obviously the SPFL would be free to make its own decision on whether they accept newcos. Precedent on SPFL acceptance of newcos does not really exist although you could argue 75% of members (ie the SFL) have already showed they accept newcos. Regarding league entry, the SFL could have accepted us in SFL1 when we applied (god knows the SFA/SPL applied enough pressure to try make it so). During the share transfers, it was Dundee who received our SPL share and therefore, arguably, we could have taken their place in SFL1 should it have been the SFL decision. Obviously instead we were placed in SFL3. Now, under SPFL, there would be no share transfers between leagues, simply whether or not to accept the SPFL share transfer between respective companies owning Hearts. While there is no precedent under SPFL it would be hard, in the extreme, for the 11 former SPL clubs (who previously didn't accept newcos) and 30 former SFL clubs (who previously accepted newcos in the bottom tier only) would now, as 41, decide they accept newcos with no impact on league status! The other thing to remember is we have constantly be told that what happened to Rangers was not a punishment but a consequence!
  22. Green bought the rights to that income when he bought the club which he then waived blackmailed in to gain the football licence. Outrageous, unjustifiable theft by SFA/SPL, why is this not being questioned?
  23. Surely you mean Rogers has shown confidence in his batting? Watson out for an uncharacteristic timid 19, Khawaja 1 (although a shocker) and Clarke just at the crease. A massive amount still to prove for Oz. Agree these two right now are a hugely important pair (from both team's perspectives). Finely poised and next wicket vital for balance of play today and possible outcome of this test!
