I thought Chris did exceptionally well in very trying circumstances. We weren't watching a pub conversation. It was a carefully orchestrated set up and the presenter was obviously being directed to let Spiers and Thomson have their say where possible. Chris was the most dignified and knowledgeable of the four and that's just what was required.

It was good PR, and a fine piece of bridge building with a top European club. Absolutely nothing to explain.

I don't remember not going to Ibrox. My dad started it off by taking me to the pre season trial matches. I must have been three at the most and would spend the entire match sitting on his shoulders. This would be late fifties. I was hooked by the sounds, the songs, the smell of pies, Bovril and freshly mown grass, and of course by watching the Gers.

I'm pleasantly surprised by the wording and tone of the response. Very much "ENOUGH IS FUCKING ENOUGH".

Damned right I'll be celebrating when we win the league. It's the first step on the way back, it's been more of a slog than we expected, and it would be disrespectful to the teams who have both welcomed us to their league and then given us so many hard games. And I confess I've quite enjoyed the notion that we've given these teams some financial security.
