Good riddance to vile fhilth, only problem is the bheasts may get a much better manager i hear Malky Mckay has been tipped and he would do alot better than the green teethed warrior.
He was past it, frozen out at Stoke and just way past his peak. I remember singing one James Beattie at the telly just because for the first time in 2 years we had signed someone but he was just so bad he made Daly look like Aguero. He wasn't really decent at Blackpool either as i recall and he retired very soon after he left us (customery big pay off in hand) one of our worst ever signings and that's not a exaggeration.
A great attitude from a young player and if there's any justice in this world Callum will get the chance to play regularly next season and show Daly how to be more than a lampost.
Hopefully they all go with best wishes. We really need to sort out our squad but without a new manager and coaching coaching staff i fear we will just repeat the past.
NIAR obviously and Rugby Park 2011 when Walter signed off with a remarkable double. Seeing Laudrup in full flow and realising the player we had signed was genuine world class and when 200k+ bears turned Manchester Red White and Blue. Gazzas hat trick for 8in a row and Allys tears and joy at the SC semi leveler when Davie Robertson was off and we were up against it. So many more real emotional moments like 50k packing out Ibrox the first game after admin (no infighting or fan V fan hatred there) and seeing our support wow the worldwide media with loyalty like no other club on earth in the bottom tier of the Scottish game.
Laudrup, Amato, De Boer or Gazza obvious ones from my era but suprised nobodys mentioned Durrant certainly pre injury he seemed like one of the best young midfielders in Europe and easily the best Scottish CM.
Very very sad but Fernando does himself proud with his attitude he was not my favourite player but he's certainly got the Rangers spirit running through his veins.
