If it happened on Tuesday and if he has been suspended by MW for his behaviour as opposed to being sent home for personal/family reasons, MW has the presser today knowingly misleading the mhedia, which isn't a bad thing of course, but if it is as bad as we are thinking then it should have been managed much better by the club and a statement released to prevent exactly all this speculation. This kind of story was always going to break and it's now too late for damage limitation, along with the fact that the mhedia will now declare serious war on MW and he is about to get his worst nightmare if he thinks they have been bad thus far in their treatment of him, which TBH, it's been with kid gloves. Be careful what you wish for Mark!

I'd put the house on "we'll learn from this" even though it's a fucking lie.  Questions must be asked of Mr W now, we are Rangers for fuck sake, w,orld record holders and globally supported, not fucking nobody Brentford.

This sort of middling along stuff may have been good enough at Brentford.  MW may say he knows what is required at Rangers.  But so far in league games evidence of translating that supposed knowledge into action is lacking.   

Hardly a demonstration of a side that has sights on being more than competitive.   Hardly a demonstration from the management team that they can motivate the squad to significantly higher performance levels.    They risk looking like they are lost about what to do to get this team going properly.  

Great strike and goal from Tav.    No taking away from that.   The assault by the Killie player for the red card was nothing short of disgraceful.
Thing about the game though, and like the other league games, its really not good enough for MW and the team to wake up after about 60mins and decide to play.   This is not good enough managerially and not good enough from players who should know better.   It seems as though they are treating these games like some sort of pre-season thing with a gradual ratcheting up of pace / progress as a game progresses.

Absolutely vile challenge.

What does Warburton think that Miller is bringing to the side? 
At least with MoH we would have some pace out wide.

I look forward to seeing good looks on paper being translated into convincing match winning performances on the pitch.    The sooner the better.   We've struggled in all league games so far and there must surely come a turning point where the theory of a squad looking good is translated into visible reality.

Same as last week - 3 points gratefully accepted.   I don't think its far from accurate to say we've hit the league stuttering.   Its like players are playing with shoe-laces undone or the left foot lace tied to the right foot.   The performances - against teams not so strong in the top flight- have hardly been commanding and inspiring.   MW says the team is gelling.  Well in results terms I suppose there is an argument for that - just.  But evidence of a team carrying a lot of goal scoring menace and translated into goals but defending as though their lives depended on it is not in much evidence.  
I think MW is not yet anywhere near 'there' in establishing which 11 to start with and is still prone to being very predictable tactically.    
There is still a lot of gelling to take place.   And at some point a transformation into more chances taken and less goals conceded.   Sometime soon.

48716 at Ibrox today.   I accept that playing in front of a big Support who are hungry for success and who have not forgotten the years spent working up from Div 3 can bring pressures.   More pressures than may historically have been the case at Ibrox.   But that the fact and MW and the players need to respond more positively to it to deliver wins and performances (in that order).

Regardless of the result those who under perform have to be dropped, they can't think its acceptable to play this way and stay in the team

Why is miller still on?

What story has MW sold to the players he's brought in this season?  If its a story about being here to contend for the league title and to be part of a team which is capable of winning it then why the fuck are they responding like this in league games? 

This mob got pumped off the tarriers a few weeks ago and they were absolutely destroyed.  
It won't be long until the fans turn on warburton at this rate
