Butcher was printed as saying 'they are technically a new club' but in the same interview said he was shocked to see Rangers in Division 3 etc so it was very contradictory. Seems like he hasn't fully understood what happened or perhaps misquoted.

Christiansen had played 16 professional games when we signed him. That was bizarre. He went on to play 140 games for Copenhagen though so couldn't have been terrible.

We can celebrate the fact he has a good track record but it's all about what he does for Rangers for me.

I'm just debating the point you've made, I didn't say you thought he was a genius. You talk of him as a potential genius and what we've been missing for years, he's not been here long and not been involved in bringing many players here. I don't think we can celebrate him just yet but the signs are looking good.

I may be ignorant and don't doubt his ability but who has he brought in so far that would allow him the genius tag?

I think we've tried to tempt but I fear he was just using us to get another year on his deal at Burnley.

Was a tough job with the pitch and the way AS were playing. He's a willing runner and can see flashes of quick thinking there. Hopefully on a decent pitch when he's able to get on the ball more we'll see what he can do.

AFC Wimbledon v Accrington Stanley at 7.30pm tonight on Sky Sports 1 in the play off semi final 1st leg. Return leg on Wednesday on SS1 too. Will be watching to see how Windass plays. Unfortunately Crooks won't make tonight's game. Not sure about Wednesday's.

Morton fans would like him back but think he'll go to a slightly higher level than they are currently. Perhaps top Championship or lower Premiership. I'd like more of our own youth players in the first team but they have to be good enough and it seems Luca has never been deemed good enough by our management teams so best for everyone he moves on.

Which Aurora was it this time?

My first thought was to give him the last 30 mins and still think he'd be more effective that way with them tiring but what if he ends up feeling pain from the injury and has to come off? Would be less of a risk, maybe, if he started and we're able to make a change when required. Tough call.

What alternatives did they offer?

Thought he played very well against Morton. His passing is of a very high standard, often the easier passes but not wasteful.

Mark and Chris are brothers in law. Still not convinced about the cousins bit. I know the families well too. But happy to be corrected on that if you're sure.I know you weren't calling Chris bitter. Just giving a bit of background to it as I don't think others can discount his opinion totally by saying 'he's a taig', he's a level headed, fair guy who ain't saying it out of spite or hatred, as you will no doubt be aware. On the point, I really like Andy Halliday. Does he control a game as a good defensive midfielder should? Probably not. I'd not be against bringing someone in to play that role and allow Halliday to play a bit further forward. I think our play is far too central at times. Maybe someone else can help open our play out somewhat.

Mark isn't related to them. He is a Celtic fan but is a good guy. None of Chris' family could be considered bitter at all. I don't reckon Chris even follows Celtic as such anymore. I heard him summarising a Celtic game. Was very fair and let out a bit of a cheer when Fenerbahce scored.
