So far I am very impressed by rangers. Controlled a lot of the game versus players worth 30million plus. Good movement, good rhythm at times and good link up play. Defensively in control for the whole of the first 60 mins. Clear that all defensive control has gone since Alves went off but I think we could all have predicted that would happen. Candeias looks very promising, works well with Tav in a 4-4-2 formation. Kranjcar looks fitter and is able to influence midfield more without Dorrans next to him. So far so good.

If it's not up by 3 then I'll be demanding a refund. People who say it is shit on the club to demand a refund clearly don't recognise that they are taking us for granted. RTV, stickers over ibrox as a quick fix, awful ticket office....

Been reading the comments here and some really surprise me. People saying that Bates did ok and was decent?! He is 20 years old now and is clearly no way good enough for Rangers. Poor ball control, poor positioning, poor decision making. If people think that is ok then our standards have really dropped. I'm not saying he needs to go right now as of course it could have been a one off- but on the showing of yesterday he was very very poor. Beerman did well against a physically strong opponent in Sammon.

The problem with what I've seen in Youtube videos is this... Almost all the chances come from attackers showing little pieces of skill (dummies, swivels, great first touch etc). Toral shows good passing ability to get the ball to the attackers, but after that the onus is all on the attackers themselves. This guy won't suddenly get us goals and making chances with the front three we currently have. He is better than Halliday/Holt so yes he is a good signing. However without a rejuvenated front three he will have little impact.

What I got from it: Although slow, Kranjcar is exactly the type of player who needs to play against teams who will just sit in all game We seemed to emphasise crosses today, which hopefully Joe Garner will thrive on. Our midfield this season is not giving as many chances for the opposition to attack, however when they do our central defence looks petrified. Manager got it wrong choosing Miller again, him dropping deep is the main reason we had nobody in the box in the first half. Dodoo offers something different and I would have liked to have seen him start with Miller coming on for the last 30 mins

Unusual game actually. For once I thought we were reasonably solid defensively. Attacking wise we had no creativity. What I got from the game: Tav is capable of defending well Clint Hill did well, good positioning Kranjcar is not match fit Miller is past it, slowed our play down and his first touch has deserted him Forrester did very well and O'Halloran did well too, both start before Miller imo

Anyone know what time the prematch build up starts on RTV?

I'm travelling through tomorrow for the game and I usually get the subway from Queen St Station. Obviously the subway is closed right now... Did anyone use the replacement subway service or the dedicated Ibrox > Queen Street service for the game against Annan? If so was it any good? I need to be back to Queen Street station for a train at 22:50. Cheers in advance.

It is unusual policing/stewarding. At first I thought they would "contain" us as it would make sense to surround the smaller fan section - just like at ibrox when it's only really the away fans who are surrounded. However when hen you hear the attendance figures, they seem to have done the opposite!
