Unpopular opinion here but I would keep him as a squad player. Never a player that hat should be playing against top 3/4 sides or in europe but handy for giving one or two others a rest against the lower teams

Both fantastic. And Coulibaly is a rough diamond. All three could be fantastic for us and should be starters. Ejaria/Middleton/Murphy on the left and Candeias/Kent on the right next to striker is how I would line up. Ejaria is good going forward but not good enough going back in a middle 3.

It’s interesting. As the game went on I actually started to change my opinion. I don’t believe the “refs are tims” narrative. However, I do think there is a genuine dislike/hatred towards Rangers amongst many of them.

Completely agree with regards to shooting. On the point of Morelos, last night was one of his best games for Rangers. Our key problem is getting support to him. Ejaria did well at times in that respect, I feel Arfield may be the missing link

OP makes a decent point. We win a tricky away tie and get about 2 hours of positive posts then it’s straight onto - Tav is shite, Murphy did nothing, not sure about Kent... As a Support we are right to be sceptical, but it is becoming fashionable to rip into certain players That’s not to say we don’t criticise as that is the whole point of a forum, but it can be draining.

Defensively it wasn’t his night, but people are quick to forget that he used to be like this all the time and (to his credit) he improved hugely in terms of defence last season. In my opinion, last night only highlighted how important Candeias is defensively to us. Hopefully just a blip - RB certainly not a priority for us right now.

He seemed determined and had a natural vision. Still potential at this stage but we have no other player like him. A quality attacking midfield player is what we are crying out for. (In midfield at least)

1 prolific striker, 1 other striking option and one skillful attacking midfielder and we will see a big change. IMO the defence is suitable for the Scottish league now.

Wallace definitely not slow but John is rapid. Final ball I can’t remember Wallace putting in a decent cross on a consistent basis. Dont get get me wrong I really like Lee Wallace, but he should not get a place in the team until it is warranted and I just can’t see it right now.
