Absolutely disgusting performance. I stand by my comments that our defence is probably the better (or least shite) thing about us. Middle to front we are fucking terrible. We cannot pass and have no threat in the final third. Actually laughable the amount of money we have spunked on attacking options and dundee have had the better chances

Hate going back to the mentality issue, but imo, had the tarriers not had that awful spell and allowed us back into the title race, games like motherwell and county we win, probably comfortably
If clement took over from gio, theres absolutely no way the summer signings pan out as they did and leave us up the creek like beale has done squad wise
This, the two situations are completely incomparable. I mean look at the fucking state of the European squad Beale had put in. The guy had no idea what he was doing.
We have too many players in the team and squad who simply arent good enough. Clement has improved results but he as he stated himself isn't a magician. I do think not pushing for a proper striker in the window will prove costly.

I think we play our best stuff with sterling as DM simply because he can mop up for Tav as he understands the position and can see the danger when Tav decides to have 'one of his moments'

ive been the managers biggest fan but there is no doubt about it he has made some glaring mistakes in the past few weeks in terms of his selections. Call me old fashioned but at the business end of the season you always start your strongest 11, get the game won and then make changes.
Its not entirely his fault as the squad is littered with absolute dross but for me he has been trying to be too clever once too often with his rotations and come a cropper. I see the defence is getting it tight but we are even worse middle to front. Shite like Dowell and Lawrence should not be starting any important games, they do not have the hunger for it, you actually see them switching off and walking back instead of bursting a gut and they would rather do a sideways pass than take responsibility and push us forward or shoot. Not good enough for me. Add to this we have absolutely fuck all upfront. Matondo outwith his ability to score a worldy is rotten and the least said about the likes of Dessers, Silva and wright the better.
In saying all that we can absolutely win the last 6 games. Why? Cause the rest of the teams are shite as well including them.
We need to have the attitude and application for every minute. Someone falls below that then get them off the fucking pitch he did it with cantwell but since then has massively shat it from making early subs.

We need better players in general but Tav isnt one of the ones I'd be looking to replace. We need 2 new CBs first. Hopefully ones who like heading a ball and can also be a threat in the opposition box at corners

i still think we need a big battering ram of a striker to mix things up. A Danny Cousin esk player who can put themselves about a bit. And we might actually be a danger at set pieces or get on the end of some of the 500 crosses we put into the box every game.
