  1. Two points. One - we obviously need as much cash as we can thus your idea is ludicrous. Two - I influence my children with regard to their attitudes to alcohol, not whats written on a team shirt. Personally I would be more concerned that I have produced two more diehard bigots, just as my father did.
  2. I will send them this and see what they come back with.
  3. Watched the Goalie at the last HK masters and then at the kickabout at ORSA last week. He still has it big time. Point blank reflex save - No.1 Man through on keeper - No.1 What a player!!
  4. Can't say I blame them either, and in some respects I think that the 3rd Div start would be good for us. Build a young team and grow them over the next 3/4 years. It would certainly ensure that when we got back to the SPL we didn't get anymore crap from the other clubs, as they would realise that one OF team is not enough to survive on. We may even see some others taking our place in the 3rd thereafter!!
  5. Ok, they have got back to me already - they need the following: "send us your design in AI/PDF file, JPG is ok too. Then our designer can draw the artwork and make sample for you. We can give you accurate price as well according to your design and requirements". Once I have this I will ping it to another few in the same area and when my guys are there in the next few weeks they can spin by and see what the scoop is. Comments?
  6. Whatever else he may have been, he was a good lawyer who professionally defended both current and past Rangers players to the best of his abilities. That is good enough for me. Condolences to his family.
  7. I have contacted a supplier in China. I will let you know the costs for 5000 as a starter. Just the plain star or do we want it to look an embroidered badge, or with writing. it could be an official RM initiative. Cheers BD
  8. Weather was lovely at ORSA last week mate!
  9. Great news! My wee yin loves the fitba and she is always looking for role models out with Thermo's reach.
  10. Criminal activity that has NOT been acted upon internally, and no Police involvement. The plod were quick enough to take the file from AJ on the takeover though. The whole thing stinks. Everyone knows why, but in the new scottish republic the truth is not welcomed.
  11. The world is full of people with excuses. Its the same everywhere - there are those overseas who make the effort to travel to games every year, make sacrifices to save, time away from the family, etc. Then there are those who say they can't afford it, their wife will give them hassle, can't get time off and so it goes on and on. You are either in, or in the way, committed or not committed. Excuses are just that.
  12. TBH, the report on the due diligence would be very interesting. The company chosen/used for it would speak volumes re Muir's/Rangers commitment to the club and if they had any real intention of doing their job. I could tell in 5 mins if they were at it or not. I am a shareholder - I wonder if I have any entitlement to see such a report? I doubt it, but i think it would not hurt to ask. For the record, I have no issue with Whyte at all, as I have yet to see any proof of his financial mismanagement - where did it go? Laughable. If he is a tea-leaf then we will act. I am more interested in the Lloyds and Muir actions for the time being, given that we have proof they were well out of order.
  13. He is the complete difference between them and us. Takes it on the chin and doesn't play the victim card. That yellow toothed freak from the east would be crying and complaining about being picked upon if it was him. That was the standout for me. Hearing his words reassured me and reinforced my complete and utter hatred for all things them.
  14. Thanks for the update. Wish I was there - sending Loyal vibes from the LOS.
  15. If the club listened to some of the folk on here, then YES.
  16. Excellent news!! Well done troops - rallied to the call. :crabflute: :crabflute:
  17. I honestly couldn't give a toss about Whyte or anyone else at board level at The Rangers. All I honestly really care about is us winning. If we win, I am happy, if not then I am unhappy. To achieve that we need a club and cash. If Whyte achieves those aims, then there is no reason we can't start winning again. Do that Mr. Whyte and I will support you, fail to do that, and like anyone else who has been in those shoes, I will not support you. Onwards and upwards - No Surrender.
  18. Never wash your dirty linen in public. That holds for every aspect of life, including at the football.
  19. He heard there were free tables at the next big doo?
  20. Someone I know told me............................. No-one knows. The end.
  21. Why would anyone pay a bill if they knew they could pay it one week, and go into admin the next with yet another tax bill? That would be idiocy. I assume CW knew all along we were doomed, gave the VAT man the rubber ear, and as a result will likely have saved Rangers the big tax bill plus 9mil. As for the ticketus deal, until someone who actually knows about it explains it I will reserve judgement. What you say may all turn out to be true mate, but at this time I have looked at the vast percentage that has been written, and to me CW has made some pretty shrewd moves re the tax and will likely make more in the vain as this situation progresses. No-one is going to f#ck Rangers over. No-one. It would mean hassle for the rest of your days, and a man who grew up in Lanarkshire will know that more than most.
  22. Is the whole point not that nobody knows where we stand financially and what has happened? Everything is conjecture at this time surely? I haven't seen one piece of proof re any of the funds. Have you?
  23. What a lot of shite about nothing. Hang him!! - oh hold on, he's actually working in London on our behalf - hold the rope.
