  1. It was not worse than last season we lost games in the league last year and drew 8 times. At least this season we were more consistent in the league even if the cups were just as much of a humiliation as last season
  2. I very much hope this isn't true. He's been rotten since he arrived, to be honest I struggle to see what he'd contribute in terms of coaching as well
  3. Don't think they should rely on Lukaku but I think he'd make a good second option better than Ba or Torres at least. His goal record is about 1 goal every 2 games with WBA & Everton - would probably be better at a team like Chelsea Having said that they still need another striker. I think Benzema is a realistic shout and would be a better option than Costa or Falcao
  4. Costa has only had one good season but Falcao is getting close to his 30's. Both aren't perfect. Chelsea will sign a top striker in the summer (maybe Benzema? if Real get Suarez) but I hope they also give Lukaku a chance he could do well for Chelsea
  5. I think it'll be a score draw or a narrow Chelsea win - I like both these teams and their managers so not hugely fussed
  6. This, I think Ancelotti has done very well to balance the two of them. I can't remember Lopez being the reason for Real chucking points in any of the games they have dropped points Could have done better with Gabi's long range shot in the Madrid Derby 2-2 draw that's about it
  7. They have Casemiro as well who has looked alright in his brief cameos but still an area to strengthen. Mind you I'd agree I'm being picky. Getting Suarez signed in the summer should be top priority
  8. Nah he's back at Dortmund permanently now http://www.bundesliga.com/en/liga/news/2013/0000291062.php
  9. Real could maybe do with a CM in the summer as well though with Alonso getting older. A Madrid Derby for the final would be fantastic but Jose taking on his old club would also make great viewing. I'm glad Bayern are heading out
  10. I'd keep Andy Little but the other three should go this summer
  11. Even if Chelsea were to beat Liverpool they'd still be 2 points behind Liverpool with worse GD (it's 11 in Liverpool's favour against Chelsea at the moment) That means to usurp Liverpool even presuming Chelsea beat them they'd need Liverpool to lose one of their remaining two games or draw them both. Chelsea would have to win both their fixtures and even if all this improbable shit happens they could still be pipped by City. The chances of Chelsea winning the league are ridiculously slim and they only have themselves to blame (chucked it to weak teams in the run in). The focus has to be on the Champions League they have a very good chance of reaching the final - the EPL is realistically gone
  12. Title is gone for Chelsea now you'd have to say. Still on course for the most points they've got since the last time they won the title. CL is still up for grabs as well but even if they get past At. Madrid you'd consider them outsiders against Real or Bayern
  13. He's hardly done well at Blackpool but if he had a proven CV and wanted to manage us I wouldn't be inherently opposed. It's a pointless debate for the moment I doubt McCoist is going anywhere in the near future
  14. Was the 05-06 season under McLeish we lost to Hibs, Aberdeen & Celtic in a row in February 2006
  15. He'll go next summer when his contract runs out in my opinion
  16. Precisely it was a fairly even game if you look at the shots and possession statistics. Compare our exit to Dundee Utd this season to the one last season. Last season we were thumped today we lost an even game. It's worth noting we were missing four players who would have made the team (Bell, Templeton, Little & Wallace) and even without them we gave as good as we got. We are spending too much on wages but based on today I don't there's too much difference between us and Dundee Utd
  17. Daly did alright today I thought won the majority of his headers, should have done better with his chance mind. It wasn't his fault that Clark / Shiels didn't do much with the knockdowns or weren't performing properly
  18. Judging by today they are not far superior it was a pretty even game which I'd say we shaded in the first half. But I do agree with your central point which is that the standard of our squad is well below what I'd expect it to be considering the wages we are spending
  19. They need Real and At. Madrid both to drop points if they're gonna claw it back in LA Liga. Hopefully they lose the Spanish Cup and end up with nothing. Barca
  20. He did pretty well today and wasn't solely responsible for the first goal. He's good backup
  21. I'd be very surprised if he isn't still our manager when the new season kicks off
  22. There's literally a thread dedicated to whether or not you're buying / renewing your season ticket. But Goat had to start his own couldn't post in there. Attention Seeking and overly dramatic about everything
  23. I'm getting my first season ticket for next year - support the club regardless of whether or not you are happy with the gaffer
  24. Gallagher for Shiels would be my only sub. We're very unlucky to be behind. Daly, Shiels & Moshni all missed good choices. Foster really fucked us for their second goal. Very happy with the performance though - confident we can go on and win it. Would be great if we did considering we were 2 behind
