  1. Perry & Weir never played together in a game for us I am glad he is gone though. Showed some early promise but was pretty awful last season. We need to sign a CB though
  2. Scored some very big goals for us and was a big part in some of the titles we won but on a personal level he was always a bit of a knob
  3. I hope this isn't true he is not Rangers captain material and at the end of this season he should be let go when his contract expires
  4. Templeton has been alright for us just been injured too much but Shiels has been rotten
  5. Incredibly talented footballer but a liability at the same time. He'll get another 10 match ban probably but I imagine most of it will apply for qualifying games The good news for Liverpool is this has the potential to put off some potential suitors
  6. Resorting to insults after losing the argument I'd expect nothing less from you
  7. 1) Just because he's going against the grain doesn't mean he's trolling. That's a jump you've made on your part based on nothing but your own hunch. 2) Admin seem to be saying he wasn't involved but in any event BP doesn't decide who does and doesn't get banned so blaming him for a banning doesn't make any sense although I imagine you'd blame him for anything if you could
  8. Is anybody that doesn't share the same opinion as you on all matters automatically a troll? Calling for members to be banned as you don't like their opinions is cringe from my perspective
  9. He was on reddit and spoke fondly of his time and has also been completely sound on twitter - not to mention he transferred over. I think some of the comments on here are harsh towards him
  10. He's had one good season in his career, has a raft of personal and disciplinary problems in his history and has not performed in years. He would be a bad signing in my opinion
  11. I'd probably plump for Bougherra as he did it over 3 seasons and contributed to us having a very successful period. That's taking nothing away from Cuellar and the huge role he played in taking us to Manchester mind
  12. Was one thread not enough for this issue?
  13. I maintain it was a bad decision to let Little go. He was unlucky this year with injury the year before he scored a lot of goals for us. Even when Little played consistently at the end of the 11-12 season in the top flight he had a good scoring return. Miller I imagine is the better player (I've not seen him that much since he left us) but we were still wrong to get rid of Little in my opinion
  14. I'd back us to win the league at this stage by about 10 points but it depends what clubs do in the transfer window to be honest
  15. Lampard has been very average when he's played this season, think it would be a smart idea to keep Cole as a squad player mind
  16. Jose's a pragmatist, he doesn't play shite football or entertaining football as some suggest. His teams tactics adapt dependent on the opponents. He will play attacking if it suits hell his Real Madrid team in 11/12 scored the most goals in LA Liga history and with Real he managed 100+ goals in each of his three seasons. This season with Chelsea was satisfactory not great. Domestically it was their highest points total since they last won the league. 82 points this season versus 75, 64 and 71 in the previous three seasons is a marked improvement. Next season is undoubtedly a huge one for Chelsea. Signs are good so far Luiz out for big money. I'd expect Costa to sign. A LB and CM to go along with Costa and Chelsea will have no excuses
  17. He was a good player in his prime but well past his best when he came to us and contributed next to nothing
  18. Man Utd's summer transfer dealings & appointment of Moyes Norwich's decision to sack Hughton Liverpool collapsing against Chelsea & Crystal Palace Chelsea folding in the run in. Arsenal's failure to sign a striker either in the summer or January. Cardiff sacking MM
  19. Legend and deserved more time based on results
  20. He was brilliant for us in his first spell - I haven't seen him play since he left the club though. Provided his level hasn't dropped he'd make a brilliant addition I reckon
  21. Hope At. Madrid go on and win it now
  22. Happy enough to give him another season but he's not really impressed and I don't see him making it for us in the long run
  23. Would have rather we kept him, he scored goals when he had a run of games in the top flight and he's shown himself more capable than Clark
  24. Moshni has got worse as the season went on - he's alright when he keeps things simple but when he tries to be clever he bottles it. He is one of the worst passers as well I've ever seen but he's confident in the air. My opinion is fairly split on him but I don't think he'll be up to the task in the top flight for sure
  25. Its a difficult question to answer because we have achieved our primary objective which was to gain promotion and we have done this scoring over 100 goals winning 33 games and remaining unbeaten However not winning the Ramsdens cup is unacceptable and even though we were missing players for Forfar in the league cup it was still a humiliation. The Scottish Cup was slightly better but we still shot ourselves in the foot against Dundee Utd. All in all I'd say this season has been more negative than positive especially with the boardroom pish still rumbling on but defining it as either a success or a failure is too simplistic. Somewhere in the middle of those two for me
