I don't think we have a very high standard of youngsters. That's what I'm saying - it isn't tactics or not picking the right players. All our players are very poor indeed. We are a terrible football team right now. Too early to judge the Newcastle lads obvs, but I'm not optimistic about them either.

These guys are there to start attacks, organise and set the tempo.
They fail miserably at this week after week.
Had to laugh when streete went off ( looked decent enough) only we could sign 5 players on loan and have 4 of them injured.

We used to rip the cunt out of teams like Hearts with Romanov, for example, who had a Chairman or Chief Exec picking the players. It's absolutely ridiculous.
I have absolutely no complaints or qualms about replacing players in the match day squad, it absolutely must be the case considering the way our team has performed over a long period of time. It needs freshened up.
However, there is a way to go about things and this is not it. This is a ridiculous situation. I absolutely can see why folk want these players starting ahead of the likes of Black, Hutton, Foster. However, this is not how I want to see Rangers run as a football club. These people are supposed to be taking care of the business side of things, the only reason we don't have a manager capable of taking care of the footballing side of things is because of THEIR own failure off the park. They should have no say in who is picked and who isn't.
I should also point out that 90% of the people on here, including myself, have yet to see any of these players play. To suggest that they should walk right into the squad is just as ridiculous as saying Ian Black and co should remain on the field for the rest of the season. These players might not be up to the required standard or have the mentality to play for this club either! They have to prove it. Just because the squad needs freshened up, by god it does, does not mean these players walk into the squad and stay in it.

You've got no doubt the five new lads can only make things better football wise. No doubt? Absolutely no doubt? In the name of the wee man, how can you have no doubt? Have you seen these 5 play?

As much as I would like to see them play, I'm very uncomfortable that a CEO and Ned are picking our team.
If they don't think Kenny is up to the job then fine, but replace him with a qualified manager or someone who knows the game. Even promote one of the senior players.
Send one of the backroom staff from Newcastle on secondment even.
Businessmen playing football manager is not on though.
What's next? Raffle at the match to pick someone out the crowd to manage?

I can remember transfer windows in the past when you were hoping and praying no other clubs were sniffing about your star players.

The manager was under pressure from day1 because of our poor play most thought he was picking the wrong team or using the wrong tactics but the bleeding obvious was staring us in the face THE PLAYERS ARE NOT GOOD ENOUGH .Even bad teams can up their game now and then and we are still in the SC but this division has magnified the players lack of ability.

I'll always believe we've a chance of beating them, however I'm also aware of just how bad a side we are right now. So I'm trying to be realistic. And having said all that, there's a quote which some might be familiar with which is "It is not necessary to hope in order to undertake or to succeed in order to persevere." That's a good philosophy to adopt for life, generally, but particularly when approaching this game it's sound advice. I want to win, but no matter what I want to get stuck in to the bastards.

Last game of the season is v Hearts away I would take being 2 pts behind gong into that game. They are still haunted by throwing away the league in 86 so major botle crash is predicted and yet another title for the Bears on a final day of a season.

A game for managerial character and the players to show they have what it takes -
it's how we act under pressure and adversity that defines us -
I'll be there to support the manager and the team, not to boo, and criticise and to try to get regime change, but to support and do my very small bit to ease the pressure, not add to it!

I enjoyed the game.
It could have been better but it was more interesting than watching Scotland play a meaningless friendly.
Gave us an interesting perspective on where the team is in its current resurgence. We had somewhere in the region of 7 players in the English Championship playing in comparison to their 11 EPL players. So I think, overall, the game probably reflected that. Scotland had decent spells in the match but England were more clinical, composed and efficient.
In these types of games the first goal is especially important, when England got in front it was unlikely to change and the second goal came at a very good time for them too.
As I said, enjoyed watching it.
