I hope everything works out for your Dad and he gets a positive result ..... and best wishes to all your family at this time ... Big Marv is a special human being and in his words all you can do is "Keep Believing" mate.

I'd prefer if you drag this out over several pages for no apparent reason tbh.

Quite a few real hard guys in the Rangers team over the years. My favourites that I saw play were Ian Ferguson and of course, JG. Best memory was of him laying out a St Mirren centre forward who had challenged Norrie Martin a bit too vigourously.
My old man always rated George Young and Willie Woodburn who he said were two of the toughest around and you just did not mess with them.

Just think - you had John Brown and Ian Ferguson in the same team as both joined in 1988. That was enough to scare the shit out of most.

I think of both Brown and I. Ferguson as legends. Just need to look at the medals.

You know Alfie is up for it when he's snarling at people, kicking the ball at them off the ball, staring them down and then celebrating the way he celebrated.
Needs to keep that same fire in his belly for every game from here on.

Correct mate .... its called recollective reaction as described by Butt .... most contact sports have similar adverse results due to this logical reason .... most likely in Roofe's case hopefully just a bruised joint.

Some of his touches and passing is sublime he sees and completes passes not many in our team would attempt Works harder than giving credit for.
consistency will come with experience. I like him

Would just like to see us get stuck right into them. Try a few nasty ones at the beginning and see how the ref handles it. We need to push it as far as we can without getting a player sent off. Something like this from Kevin Thomson.
    This was a tackle.

Also love the way he just pushes him over afterwards. They do not like the rougher side and moan like shit as they are the only team that should be allowed to play football.

Missed out the best bit. Fans to wear the other teams colours. Could even swap with a smelly direct on the day.

I used to work in London and in the 90s the company I worked for tried this for charity, many of us donated to the charity but when they brought in the various team tops, many of us resolutely refused to wear them. It caused mates to fall out and all in all it was a poor idea. I did not even touch that rag of a top.
