  1. i disagree. I fight with the tic every day on there. It has become, to paraphrase the Swedes, 'a piggies fanzine'. The more people who will stand up and ridicule these bastards the sooner we will drive them away from mainstream media and back to Kerrydale.
  2. That was his first game and the conditions were less than ideal. When you add that to debut nerves I think he did just fine.
  3. If we count the Hivs and Peterhead as real fixtures which MW regarded as pre season games then that is 17 goals in 4 games. We do not need a striker. We carry goal threats all over the park and the the more the side gels the fewer chances will be spurned.
  4. It is early days but the signs are very encouraging. I have no doubt that we will romp the league this year. Cups against top division sides will be a better measure of where we are but lets not forget that even under Ally we beat some of those sides. I can see us winning a League Cup or a Scottish Cup this year. MW has transformed us on the park and with each passing game the side will gel better. The side that won 6-2 in Edinburgh had previously had only 90 mins together against Burnley in a friendly. Where will they be 15 or 20 games into the season ? I can see no reason to be afraid of the tic either this season or next.
  5. From what we have seen so far MW not only handles interviews very well but he is also giving us the product on the park. His contacts with top EPL teams and the high regard in which they hold them can only benefit Rangers long term. Man is a breath of fresh air and I now look forward to a sucessfull and entertaining season. I can even forgive his allegiance to Spurs. No pretense just a straightforward statement - "I am a Spurs fan"
  6. 12 goals in 3 competative games. We are hardly desperate for an out and out striker.
  7. The side is still gelling. They have been together less than 2 months. MW knows how he wants us to play and it is from the back. We may lose some silly goals while waiting for it all to come together but who gives a shit. What a difference from the disaster that was Ally and clipboard.
  8. Waiting until I see the team before placing a couple of correct score bets. Thinking about 5-0 and 6-0.
  9. He probably knew that there was a very good chance that he would be next so he volunteered to remove himself. Crafty cunt knows that he can still go back to Ibrox at any time. Bans have to be permanent.
  10. http://www.bramalearangersclub.com/ Had the NARSA convention there coup;le of years ago.
  11. Good penalty shout as Waghorn was clearly fouled. Probably would have got it if the game had not been a friendly. I am very pleased after that performance. Time is needed for the team to gel but the signs were all promising. Playing out from the back, passing the ball well, and pressing high up the park is the way forward. I also thought all the new signings looked like real players.
  12. McCoist is forever tainted in my eyes. I could forgive the management disasters but I can never forget the way that he is still leeching money off the club today. Fuck him.
  13. I am beginning to think that Warburton could be the best thing to have happened to our club. He has me sold. We have values like respect, timekeeping, disipline and appearance in the work place and those who don't like it will be shown the door. Wants to sign young, hungry players who want to settle at a club after they have gained experience on loan. Small first team pool so all can fight for a place. Nothings but positives and even if takes a little bit of time to get the side playing the way he wants I for one will give it to him. Read in another interview that he regards the start of the season to be the St Mirren game and the cup games before that to be pre season friendlies. Games he wants to win but clearly is focused on the league.
  14. "Stjarnan striker Gardar Johansson worked under Deila at Stromsgodset and revealed to the Scottish Sun that the manager once gave a team-talk wearing lingerie and a sex toy to amuse and relax players ahead of a cup final." Matron !!!!.
  15. Since when can match tickets for vets be regarded as merchandise.
  16. I may be in a minority but I will buy nothing until the SD contract is ripped up.
  17. I doubt that anybody can argue with Warburtons stated goals. The benefits will not be apparent overnight and we must be patient. I can accept a rocky start to the season but I expect us to show steady improvement and go up as champions.
  18. At least Bell is no longer an automatic pick. I expect him to start the season on the bench. Managers always like to start with their signings and If Wes is half decent then Bell will only get an occassional game.
  19. We have all ranted for years about the need for a complete overhall of the footballing side of the Club. Now it is underway. But the benefits will be long term. Weir and Warburton have both said it is quality and not quantity they are looking for. I agree with giving players a trial period before deciding whether or not to make an offer. I further agree that an in depth look at the current squad is required. It is called management. Warburton is financially astute and will not waste money giving 'Ally type players' 'Ally type contracts'. If he feels he has to spend to make sure we win the league this season then King has assured him that the funds will be made available. I cannot understand people whining before a ball has been kicked.
  20. Asa member of RF I have no problem with this proposal.
  21. Article is so negative it reads like it was written by a tim. Gallagher and Hardie if they impress MW will get a lot more game time next season and personally I would give Hardie an extended run as striker from the start of the season.
  22. Has to be nothing but press speculation. Can't see Jig coming back.
  23. I believe that we only now doing what we should have done 3 years ago. Very hard for young players to break into EPL and Championship sides and they tend to go for the finished article and not take a chance. Their academy players go out on loan. Warburton clearly knows this market and is looking to get what he sees as the cream. A few more signings before the start of the season and lets see where we are at Xmas.
